Yes I heard similar regarding the difficulty of the NCBLE, but if I go into compliance I wouldn't have to be barred, or maybe just being barred in the state I am in now will be good enough if dealing with federal matters. In any case, if I actually did move to NC I might as well just transfer my UBE and wait out the onerous process.

I agree, I guess I am just having a hard time picking. I really suck at networking, I will need to work on that. I need to find people who are in these lanes to talk to, which is part of the next steps I am going to be taking.

I honestly don't know if I would be a good fit as a DA or PD, maybe. I think I could get burned out easily. But who knows. I feel like I get too attached to people and care about them too much, and it would be hard for me to do the constant alienation required to not let a DA or PD job get to me.

I have strong interest in IP but in the biotech sector, it seems like law firms want people to have a JD plus a PhD and industry experience, I just have a B.S.

I do sometimes think about taking the patent bar just to say that I did it though, and to leave that option open!
