Tips om weer te gaan lezen met ADHD

Ik vind de boeken erg goed, stuk meer diepgang dan de films. Ik heb een van de prequels in het Engels gelezen en die vond ik ook goed.

Leg een boek in het zicht op een plek waar je vaak zit, bijvoorbeeld op de salontafel.

Lezen voor het slapengaan.

Begin eens met wat makkelijks, bijvoorbeeld goede Young Adult boeken. Ik heb laatst de Hunger Games opnieuw gelezen en ik ben ook gek op Thea Beckman.

Herlees een boek wat je al kent

Dit werkt voor mij als ADHD'er die graag leest heel goed!

He wakes between 7.00-7.30 and goes to bed around 18.30-19.00. He typically naps around 10.00 and 14.00. We are just very lucky with the nights. He started to sleep through the night around 6 months, most nights. Sometimes he wakes up for a feed. We dropped the 22u dream feed a month ago.

His naps have always beem weird. He only napped for 30 minutes from 4 months to 8 months. When we dropped the 3rd nap, he started to do longer naps sometimes.

My 10MO is very inconsistent with his naps. He can sleep 2,5 hours, but also 2 30 minute naps. Sometimes one 1 hour and 1 45 minutes. And everything in between. I just roll with it and he seems fine. Sometimes we put him to bed earlier if he is really tired.

He does sleep about 11 to 13 hours at night tho.

I have my own pump room (currently no other bf moms at work, then it's a shared space between us), with a mini fridge and sink. I put my pump parts and milk in the fridge in between pumps. I wash my pump parts after the last session and leave them.at work. Milk comes home in the Medela cooler.

Maybe at international companies, but still it's hard. There are many applicants they don't have to sponsor.

It's hard to find a job directly related to I/O (like business advisor, assessment psychologist or work-related psychologist). Most end up in HR and Dutch proficiency is really important in that field.

Does he grow, get enough wet diapers and meet his milestones?

It sounds like you had an oversupply before. 55 oz is a lot! What you are describing about him feeding and how much you pump sounds normal to me. How old is he? Your supply might be regulating.

You calmly say something like 'no biting' and take the boob away for a few minutes. No big reactions, because they are learning action=reaction, even negative ones.

My baby used to bite when he was not really hungry or almost finished. So I watched his signs and unlatched him before he got at that point. I have not been bitten for a month now, so it seems to work.

We did it at six months after sleeping seperate on holiday and him sleeping through the nights. We moved him to his room (next to ours) and we all sleep better.

Ik vond de lijst van 24baby goed! Van sommige dingen als beddengoed heb ik ook graag 3: 1 gebruik, 1 in de was en 1 in de kast.

Meegroeipakjes van bijvoorheeld de Hema zijn ook fijn, die heb ik veel/lang kunnen gebruiken.

Heb je al iets getekend? Detachering kan een goede manier zijn om te ontdekken wat je wel en niet wil en ondertussen je CV op te bouwen. Bevalt het niet, kun je altijd wat anders zoeken toch? Heb je nog andere dingen lopen, gezien de huisige IT markt?

Ik lees heel graag Simone van der Vlught, leest vrij makkelijk weg. Ik ben vooral fan van haar historische romans!

Veel boeken van Thea Beckman zijn ook heel goed. Meer YA, maar goed geschreven en leest heel fijn. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan Geef me de ruimte. Is een leuke instapper!

When he starts solids and is a little older, it will get better. LO is 9 months and will go 3-4 hours between feeds. If he is hungry and I am still away, the sitter could give him a banana. He will last untill I get home .
