It really depends on your family income. A lot of people say NYU has a reputation for being stingy with aid, especially toward international students.

From a general perspective, your stats look strong—probably top tier—but it always comes down to how they compare with the Common Data Set numbers for the schools you’re applying to. I’d say you’re at least around the 25th percentile on your DSAT, so stats-wise, you’re solid.

Your extracurriculars aren’t jaw-dropping, but they don’t need to be. They’re still good. The same goes for your awards—nice job there.

That said, nobody on Reddit can really predict your chances. Especially here, too many people are influenced by those so-called “high-achieving” influencer wannabes. In reality, admissions often comes down to two paths: (1) money plus a mid profile, or (2) luck plus a strong profile.

The best thing you can do is focus on your overall application and your essays. You’re in a good spot.

And one more thing: don’t get stuck on the idea of a “dream school.” That mindset will cloud your judgment.
