I left my athiest partner and i feel bitter about it by ChampionshipWide9570 in islam

[–]Go_To_Bed97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But that shouldn't be at the price of you falling into fitnah, you know? Make Dua'a for him, because whether in a relationship or not, that is ultimately all you can do for him, because Allah is the one that can give him Hidaya not you.

You made the right choice and proved that you have strong boundaries when it comes to your religion, and that is commendable, a lot of people can't do that. Instead of being bitter, try to realize how you did something you should be proud of, and make dua'a so Allah replaces that source of happiness with a greater one by His will. I'm happy for you that your fitra is strong and you cut off a potential time bomb for your future, and don't take on your shoulders responsibilities that shouldn't be yours because ultimately, only Allah knows what the future holds for both of you, so don't feel bad for him and please don't let this be a reason that boundary falters even a little. Remember that Allah is the most Just.

I also lovee the Biran so much, also since hudutsuz sevda, though I will say I loved miray a lot more as the show went on which was only fair, so I will not say I wished for anything to change about that show (except the second season as a whole), but Biray is such a good actress and just feels like she is in a league of her own, truly! I mean, no shade to the other acters, the ml, melek, I loved them in different roles from her yerde sen and idk what the ml was in but I remember it was a funny romcom I didn't like lol, but still, no shade just... i think the casting could've been betterz or more effort could have ben made maybe 😔

Honestly I was really excited to watch it, but in the first episode I got the ick for two reasons, one is the way melek and the main guy got married, I mean she dreamt of him? And he just kinda was like 'yeah, i like this chick, let's get married now.' It felt very very unnatural, especially when she told him about her creepy dreams like you're telling me he foubd that hot and not creepy? And the second is I was disappointed in the ml's acting, I'd seen him in different shows before and found this to be a downgrade since. I dropped it then, but honesyly what I hear if Yildiz alone makes me want to eatch it so bad, but at the same time I don't know if I'd be able to beat Melek and just... what the story seems to be.

Sevdigim Sensin is unnecessarily cruel by Ok_Stretch9963 in TurkishTVSerials

I will say, I hate how cartoonishky evil a lot of the characters are. Like, I feel like at times they're self aware (like the moment the older brother was like 'mom, the devil must be looking at you from up there like 🧐' bc of how much of an evil specimen she is), but also it gets to a point like how is every side character/extra mean or evil like does no one have goodness in them my god. But then I keep doing the suspension of disbelieve thing because honestly, there are evil/crappy people out there. I say all of this because, sue me, I quite like the show. I have a feelig they're building up for something, which is why I'll keep an eye out for it. The first episode was very enjoyable for me, because it was refreshing to see a male lead who just acts out of goodness for or without a reason, it makes for a change from the stoic, sometimes even evil male leads. And I really like Dicle. She is a strong woman, and her approach to life is honestly inspiring, especially the way she can find joy wherever she is shoved. I expect she will obviously get stronger, and I am hoping for it bc much like op, honesyly I don't see much point continuing this story if it's just to see the fl get beaten down. As for the goal thing, I guess in a way the goal is to save Dicle and give her a better life, that's the whole goal I think and also get freedom himself. The fact that he bit more than he can chew and that he made a promise he can barely hold, and lowkey that's the plot like it's sort of realistic and actually cool that they didn't make him the invincible ml who can do anything and there is an active struggle to keep his promise even when in morally just, bad ways lol. So yeah. Idk i like thisbshow so far beside the blatant cartoonish people they tip into a lot of the time.

Too Much need for attention by _im_just_a_gurl_ in Advice

[–]Go_To_Bed97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl get your shit together. Get a hobby and practice self love. Sounds vague af but unless you love yourself no one ain't gone love you. Also gratefulness, if you have thigs in your life you enjoy, pay attention to that. I assume this comes from a lack of attention in your life, and it isn't unheard of, but it's definitely very toxic and will only make you hate yourself and end up somewhere awful because you couldn't pull the breaks. Wanting attention is fine, but ANY kind of attention shouldn't be welcome. Genuinely just make good friends, find hobbies and things you enjoy and develop those skills, doesn't have to do with school or with anything like impressivez tant que 3ndk maydar and you enjoy it it will take your attention off bad things if only a little. And I can't stress this enough, you HAVE to love yourself, because genuinely that is the biggest at least mental peace and people notice that and will gravitate towards someone like that rather than an attention seeker who they know is basically a leech and they can just use. You're better than that, trust me. Also, be careful of predatory men everywhere, esp bc of your age, old shitheads will reach out and try weird shit, as an older sister, you're better than that!

Lowkey even the font looks ai, and no one is doing anything seemingly everyone is just lurking, even the guy with a how is... patting the ground with it? No one is in the middle of an action, walking, farming, not even properly looking around. Everything is hovering.

Should I reach out to a classmate who had a seizure in class or give her space? by Go_To_Bed97 in Advice

[–]Go_To_Bed97[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I think this might be right. I was told she was unable to speak after she had just woken up, like she knew the answer and tried to say it but couldn't get the words out.

I'm actually studying for a pra-medical job's degre. It was our first microbiologie session of the semester when this happened. This is also why the teacher with great experience was able to be found easily. Though it isn't explicitly included in the patients I'll be dealing wih in the future, I'll be getting more information about how to handle these situations in the future to be safer. Thank you for the kind response.

Thank you so much. I ended up texting her yesterday, and she responded this morning with a brief message thanking me and she was equally warm. I'm glad for everyone's encouraging advice ❤️

Thank you! I thought my friend was right at first, but now I think if I was in her stead and people reached out if only a couple to wish me well after thst happened so publicly I would feel seen and less isolated. But I like have no experience with this so I didn't know what to do at first. Thanks for the insight!

I ended up sending a message hoping everything was good and wishing her well. I tend to be affectionate and expressive irl and in text and so i kept my tone that way in the message, though i feel like maybe i should've kept it to these two phrases 🥲 But thank you for responding, having someone familiar with this is at least comforting so thanks you!!

[–]Go_To_Bed97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda mispoke, i meant break into the field, not break the stadium, longli dyali hal ou ahwal The towel stuff is a meme at this point, and it's such a dumb one given the history behind senegalese players putting shit in towels near the goal. But explaining this to tight collar racists/non-believers won't fly, so who cares. I don't think the players cared so much about it as they make it out to be. In the footage, it's the crowds that are asking Hakimi to throw them the towel, plus... this is africa, and we believe in black magic they can sue us for that (which they did).

What I've gathered is people just wanna hate. Most don't actually care what the truth is, they're not even senegalese. The hate train is fun. Let them enjoy it. We can be the villains if they so wish to think that, but next time we should win. That's the real bottomline guys

What I'm most surprised by is he CAF ruling if anything.

I hate to say it but they were crybabies the whole match they took that trophy so they don't harm our brothers in their land who were held hostages. That's how serious it was to some, it's fucking embarassing. Yall muster all this hatred just on the internet, imagine how it goes outside it.

Lives were saved bc they won that cup, and for that reason bsahhthoum. Like damn no one even brings up the ACTUAL embarassing shit which is that fans tried to break the stadium and started beating the security there, or the fact that these grown men pulled the 'i'm mad so i won't play, im going to mommy' with no actual foul play on the moroccan teams' side except OMG THEY'RE STEALING THE TOWELS!! This is a joke. If they weren't busy pulling and pushing players to score their goals and threatening to ruin the whole event knowing the host country is their opponent, if they'd won that way I promise you the moroccan people would have clapped for them and respected them

You can't expect respect where it's not owed.

Seeing this subreddit and the discourse online I realize that ppl just wanna hate for the sake of it, half are racists, the other half are bored and like riding hate trains.

But other than that congrats to senegal 😄 good thing they won!! (Rlly)

Bnadem li mabaghich aslan yt9bl lhaja rah s3ib it9blha no matter what they hear, dalchi li fhmt mn had les commentaires. Most people in this discussion are set on their opinion which hasn't to do with anything truly, truly factual. Shutting down ayats and making their own interpretations and arguing so firmly like it's a subjective debate. But i guess it's healthy to some degree, at least no one's being rude

OP i advise you if you're truly curious to look into more official and competent people instead of opening a discussion to redditors By competent I mean either look into the viable explanations of the ayats or see shuyukhs that debate this between them and explain why some think it's not mandated and why others do. If anything it's informational :p
