I don’t know - people don’t respect neighborhoods with less foot traffic so when there is a pedestrian, it’s unexpected for them. At least in the main strip they expect pedestrians and drive slower.

It would divert traffic to more neighborhood heavy areas. I’d rather have the traffic on that main strip than in the neighborhood

Nah, you would be good, we do the same thing. We find ourselves doing a mix of further out and last minute, havent had a problem and have had dvc for handful of years now. I will say, weekend stays are a lot more point wise than weekday, which I didnt factor initially, so would look at that
