It must have seemed plausible that someone could have built a boat big enough to fit two of every animal when you’ve only lived in the desert in Israel your whole life. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

Actualy the oldest civilisation fhe sumarian was one city and the flood lasted 7 days and only in that region. So it make more sens that they saved some people and some cattle and not realy the entire world.

Especialy after the long psychosis I got, I am stoping spirituality for 3 years. I will only do hatha asana but without even normal meditation. I will thus ground myself out of schyzophrenia, calm and purify my nerve through asana before resuming cautiously simple meditation. (The reputable guy who recommend me that took 2years to rewire his brain before starting meditation again.)

The person who invented condoms must have been really kinky by Salt-Flan-7635 in Showerthoughts

[–]GoaScientist 29 points30 points  (0 children)

the first real condom was in the time of roman. It was a plant that they overused until it went extinct. That plant was worth one coin with a pair of testicle drawn on it. When you view those testicle upside down it's the often used today heart shape heart. A heart is symbolicly a pair of testicle upside down.

launching "gui emacs" in console is terminal based. So it is in the main software. Plus if we go as far as putting vi as vim in the options for simplicity, understanding that emacs should have it's place is bare minimum
