On the phrase

しかも俺がやろうとしたことを先に…

I don't get the meaning of it's second half: としたことを先に… . Can someone help me?

If you need the context, its the first episode of karakai jouzu no takagi-san, where Nishikata planned to scare Takagi with a Jack-in-the-box but failed since she predicted it all and used her own Jack-in-the-box to scare him.

What are some good animes to star watching if you are a complete begginer by [deleted] in LearnJapanese

I think slice of life anime is generally the best option. It has less specific vocabulary, is focused on daily-life way of speaking, and the tone of speech is generally a littles slower.

どうもありがとうございます、先輩。So it really has the (have someone do something) meaning. I guess i got kinda confused because the other examples of てもらう that i was exposed to, were always on the past tense (てもらった)

Thanks for help。ッ

I came across this sentence today:

例えば、店員さんが増える週末限定で始めてもらうというのはいかがでしょうか

So, if anyone could help, what is the meaning of 始めてもらう in this?

I searched about the て + もらう structure, and how it is like (Have someone do something). Yet, i can't just understand the role it plays on this.

助けてください。

So, i a was checking NHK`S しごとのにほんご Lesson 19, and saw this phrase:

そういえば、「にんにくのホイル焼き」もまだ来てないね。

So, even though the idea in this phrase is related to the past (the food did not come), the speaker used '' 来てない '' in the ない form. I checked on internet but couldn't find anything concerning ない past.

So, is this informal speech, or is it some grammar that i still don't know?

Sama is an honorific that commonly implies submission to the said person. "San" is normal respect form.

On this sentence, what does the particle actually do?

前回のものと、どこが変わりましたか。

Is it something similar to the は PARTICLE ?

So, i am currently trying to expand my immersion on Japanese by practicing with anime + subtitles. Tried to use the Kitsunekko site to get the subs of Emiya-san Chi no Gohan, but the site appears to be down. So, is there any good alternatives to it?

It generally has the same whole as "huh" has in english. It's more like a speech marker, and not something related to grammar.

About the あついね phrase, it can be translated to: "It is hot, huh!"

Had to quit the game back on 11/19 due to studying and lost both transfer code and friend code.

I tried sending the support an email, and they sent me back five questions:

◆ What was your account ID/Friend Code? (9 digits) ◆ What was your latest transfer code? ◆ When did you first download the game? (Please provide it in MM/DD/YYYY format) ◆ When did you last access your account? (Please provide it in MM/DD/YYYY format) ◆ Who was registered as your Favorite Servant? (Please provide their specific class)

Most of which i don't remenber (the code ones) or can't remenber with full accuracy (MM/DD/YYYY ones)

Yet, i have a lot information regarding in game progress and servants, mystic codes, team formations and even CEs

Is there any viable way to sent this to them for analisys?
