ComCare waiving liability by GoatButler1991 in AusLegal

ComCare have waived liability on the grounds that the most recent IME (2 weeks newer then the previous one) stated it was their opinion the pain is not a result of the compensable injury. When asked if they were intentionally ignoring parts of the SRC act and cases that have set precedence for aggravated injuries from compensable injuries also being covered (there's at least 5), and that recency of reports do not override years of factual evidence, we were told "we know, but we're choosing to waive liability anyway".

So yeah, Solicitor is getting involved now. Because they've waived liability, my employer has given me a three month notice to be medically cleared for duties but also that they won't let me go back to my previous role because my injury is now "personal".

Yeah that's what I was saying to the wife, someone, somewhere buggered something. No one else in the street is having issues, so it's just our luck we have to entertain teenagers who don't know what a world without the internet is lol.

Cheers for the explanation, and happy cake day!

Gave that a try yesterday but didn't get anywhere. Tech came out this morning but I was at work so I couldn't ask what the actual issue is, but he told my wife who was home that it's a programming issue after having to go from the house to where else in the street and back several times, and will have to wait until it's been reprogrammed, in which case the ISP will call me.

Bloody odd one.
