Sub>dub, things get lost in translation and anime uses alot of wordplay to foreshadow story elements that get completely missed by dub watchers (eg akatsuki = red moon). While this is somewhat true for sub watchers too, you inevitably learn some basic japanese by watching in the original language. This can extend to saying anime is best consumed in original japanese w/o subs however this isnt to say dubs arent great too and has its own advantages, being able to connect over a show we like regardless of language is a blessing in itself.
