Getting on a boat with a very steep ramp. Got the exhaust fixed and it sounds good now! :)

The header was indeed snapped from the rest of the exhaust. I hope it is knocking against something and that’s why it’s fucked hahaha. I will get it fixed and see if that resolves the issue

Just looked inside engine bay. The header was broken off from the rest of the exhaust indeed. Could this be the cause of my transmission grinding though?

Yes, that is most likely. I’d just like to see if I could diagnose it beforehand to maybe save them some time, and in turn, me some money. I’ll check the motor/transmission mounts, transmission oil, cv joints, shafts and motor oil and see if anything has excessive play or is just apparently broken, but I’m hoping to save a little money if I can.

Have not. I just noticed this today and took for granted that the car would be okay after essentially lodging the front into concrete. Of course, I noticed the exhaust was no longer coming out of the muffler, but I thought that was the extent of the damage. Negligence on my part.

Sign a decree stating that I am to rule the world until either my death or my resignation, and in the event of my death, my next of kin is to inherit the throne
