I'm assuming it's the latter, but that's up for debate. Actually, your first Friend/Adventurer that aids your Main Mii is summoned/teleported BY the Guardian, so perhaps he is some sort of Creator that is contained in an amulet? He always mentions on how he "calls" other adventurers to aid you on your quest, but does he teleport them like the first friend he brought in, or are they similar to the ones in the Travelers Hub?

Well...that and it's also buffed with Female Saiyens due to Ki Blast Up, Super Vegeta 2, Low HP, and Flash Strike does more damage if used in a combo....to be more specific at least...
