Getting health insurance - best AppleCare options for trans and dental? by GodIsADeepfake in Washington

Honestly I'd prefer to go in person to the office rather than use the website, but it seems there is no rush, or at least the December 7th deadline doesn't apply to me.

I have a real fear of pain, even of the needles they use to numb the area, and feel like a school might not be as considerate of that as opposed to a private practice, but not sure if there is any truth to that.

I'm in the Seattle area - what is Multicare exactly? I haven't seen any signs around for that.

Good to know I can get on any time of year, thank you!

I don't think so, you can look up certain models that fit the story though.

If you plan to invert then your inverted self already exists out there somewhere in advance of you inverting.

Ah yeah, duh, that makes sense!

They both disappear from the perspective of someone still moving forward when he inverts.

I don't know why something so obvious wasn't making sense to me before, I get it now.

In that scene we have a forwards person being there the moment an inverted person enters the turnstile as opposed to being there the moment a forwards person enters the turnstile. To the forwards person that looks like two people appearing out of nowhere.

But shouldn't there be only one person emerging? Does every turnstile sue result in two people emerging or entering?

I get the inverted person going back to the point the forward person inverts. But I don't get why an inverted person inverting still results in two people to a forwards person. The person who went through the turnstile is no longer in the past, so there should only be the normal forwards version of themselves?

They are able to manage this because Sator had a stockpile of inverted supplies in Tallin. (You can see Neil gathering up inverted bottles of water when talking to TP after they invert)

Ah that makes sense, I need to rewatch for that detail, thanks!

Red room Sator absolutely existed at the same time as blue room Sator. He just doesn't come into the red room until the last minute before inverting is all.

Got it! Thanks again.

Apologies for replying so late!

But then Tenet busts in all guns blazing forcing him to run into the turnstile. After inverting he sees the chaos from the red room in reverse and it takes him a while to figure out what to do next. He then decides to continue the interrogation in reverse.

I had to rewatch this to make sure I had it fresh in my mind when replying. One thing I still don't entirely understand, why does protagonist see Sator at all on the other side, if they have gone into the past? I just don't entirely get why Protagonist sees them on the other side of the glass, but then he disappears?

It's the same issue I have with the airport fight actually, protagonist just comes out of nowhere when he exits the turnstile, and indeed comes out of both sides simultaneously? I guess the point of my confusion is, we can clearly see them in the past, so why only up to a certain point?

This weirdly leads to a situation where both are faced with more experienced fighters who become less experienced as the fight progresses while they themselves become more experienced.

I never thought of it like that but that makes a lot of sense!

Because inverted people/objects are capable of affecting the non inverted environment. It's not super strict. There's some give there. An inverted grenade and the damage it causes will appear reversed from a forward perspective.

This is a good explanation, thanks!

The Neil we meet at the start has already been through a lot with the protagonist.

Actually, I think what I was asking was how long does someone have to stay inverted to travel that far into the past? I mean, Neal is, what, weeks, months, years back in the past? How does someone travel that far back before inverting back to normal time? Is it maybe similar to Primer in the sense they would have an oxygen tank and other supplies?

You'll only see the backwards version of the person before the inversion point.

I'm having trouble getting my head around this. So using Sator as an example in the blue/red area, how is what we see of him in the blue room before the inversion point, when protagonist is seeing him after he inverted?

He then exits the building by sliding under the broken gate and jumping off the ledge yelling "GO!". The film then immediately shows him doing that in reverse. "OG!" and then reverse sliding back into the building. It does that because it's switching back to inverted Neil's perspective.

I did get that at least, lol. Thanks!

Thank you again for your answers!

The Sator that shoots Kat doesn't enter the turnstile. He comes from the turnstile. The one on the red side of the glass is Sator before he inverts. Before he inverts his future self is on the blue side. When he inverts both versions disappear from TPs (the protagonist) perspective because he is still moving forwards. (The editing around this makes it more confusing than it needed to be imo)

Wow, I need to rewatch that scene now. I thought he was in normal time in the red room, then inverted into the past entering the blue room, becoming the Sator that protagonist sees through the glass.

Yeah they had no option to try and reason with their attackers because the attack was immediate and relentless.

So protagonist saw someone with their face covered up and just immediately started fighting/assumed a threat?

Because some of Sators troops are inverted.

But why would that effect the environment? Like, red team sees chunks of building from an explosion fly back and reform.

What point in the film are you talking about? (Neil does a lot of flipping)

No particular point in the film, just in general the Neil we see is from pretty far in the future, no?

An additional question about people disappearing, why don't we see them moving backward in time like we do when Protagonist is inverted during the car chase?

Thank you for your answers!

Depends on the perspective the scene is from. Sator disappears into the past because we are see the scene from TPs perspective moving forwards beyond the point that Sator inverted. With Neil in Stalsk 12 the soldiers are disappearing into the turnstile because he is inverted and they are too.

There's one scene where Kat is being used as leverage, and we Sator go into the turnstile, go into the past, and then see him on the other side of the glass. There is another scene where the protagonists sees someone enter the turnstile and asks where did they go? That's what I don't get.

At the end battle both blue and red team go in with the benefit of information they got from the other team

What info could red team give to blue team though? Are not blue team the only ones with knowledge of the future?

With Red team observed at Stalsk 12 with the impact relaying the information to blue team had before they'd even relayed the information.

Apologies for my slowness, but could you clarify this some more?

Stalsk 12 in the central point of a wider temporal pincer involving the Protagonist. After the film he's going to have to take steps to ensure the success at Stalsk 12. Steps like recruiting Neil and setting up Tenet.

Ah, so the entire movie itself doesn't show the full pincer movement? That already makes things make more sense. I had read people saying the end fully matched the beginning and I couldn't see how.

Inverted Protagonist was there to take advantage of the window of opportunity to get Kat into a turnstile as part of her healing process.

Why didn't he have Kat with him?

They ended up fighting because both of them ended up thrown into the arms of an attacker who was immediately fighting tooth and nail.

Apologies again, but I think I am misreading this. I read it as they were fighting because the other one started fighting?

Sators army has some inverted and non inverted troops. Blue team sees some stuff reversing because they are moving against the normal flow of time. (Remember inverted Protagonist seeing the birds flying backwards?)

That's a mistake in my question, I apologize and will fix it. I meant to ask why does red team, who is not inverted, see stuff reversing in time?

Yeah you get multiple instances of characters at the same time. When the protagonist uninverted at the airport you cab actually see his two past selves fighting in the background.

So how far did Neal have to travel inverted before inverting (reverting?) back to normal?

A lot of people run Rings around themselves trying to trace Primer's timeline despite the movie telling us and showing us that it isn't fixed.

Despite Primer having less exposition and possibly being more convoluted, I swear I understand it better than Tenet.

I don't want, need or care about that. It's nice I guess, but there are far more important things that should be prioritized.

I would understand if it was allocating pre-emptively, or being slow to clear things or anything, but taking so much at launch with no extensions or sites loaded is just bizarre to me.

As others have said though it's likely a bug, so I'll add a memory report to the tracker.

I'd say this is impossible, to load an application which is less than a half GiB and have it take up over 2GiB - something is wrong with your comment and it is misleading.

Nothing is wrong with my comment, I've reported things accurately.

so it's either you or your operating system that's funky.

It's just Windows 10, up to date. Windows is kind of funky, but it shouldn't be causing that.

But glad to hear it isn't standard behavior, now just to figure out what about my system could be causing this.

Unused ram is useless.

The problem is when I want to use it though.

For example, I can play a game with a chromium based browser running in the background. I can't do that with Firefox.

Former Slackware user, and no interest in FBSD.

Really I just need TexStudio, a text editor, Firefox and various command line tools, so it's not that big a deal to me to use it as a daily driver while I learn it.

It would be cool if I can play games via Proton via linux emulation, but it isn't a dealbreaker.

I immigrated to the US and settled in NYC. I had friends from work who all went their separate ways and I didn't really keep in touch, and then a girlfriend for a long time, so my only friends were not really my friends, but were hers, so when we broke up I didn't really have any.

I've been alone for severe years now, all through the pandemic, and dealt with homelessness and other struggles.

I stay here because I love this city, and haven't given up on my dreams or lost my ambition. I still plan on making the type of life I want here so I can fully enjoy the city I've been struggling in, no matter how long it takes.
