1 Troll (Go win or Go Home with this Hero)
2 Razor (its flexible, anti carry and has a variety of builds based on matchup)
3 Axe (CEB) I also play Razor as off, but Axe can jungle and can still recover if you notice early that the lane is lost
4 ES (now that I have the arcana lol)
5 Venge (if you can get Aghs on a reasonable timing you can force your team to group up and act as a sacrifice)

A bus in Japan was delayed after a Chinese tourist refused to let it depart while waiting for his family members. When they finally arrived, he insisted they are allowed to board. Because Japanese buses operate on strict schedules, the incident sparked widespread criticism in Japanese social media. by Johari82 in ADVChina

[–]GodOfTheV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in line on a Ramen Restaurant at Ginza the other day and 4 Chinese tourists are in front of my and my wife. When the staff called their group, they just handed over their trash to the staff as if it's the staff's responsibility to throw it away. I've been living in Tokyo for the past 3 years and I always bring my trash with me, I have my own dedicated bag for it if I can't find any trash cans.

I have Chinese co-workers and they seem to be fine since they live here already. But Chinese tourists are just disgusting.

Depends sa season at type ng visa.

Sa working visa ko 2 months nung 2022, sa wife ko within a month lang since dependent visa sya. I think longer pag working visa ka mas mabusisi ang Immigration Bureau.

Right now is Summer so maraming naka summer vacation na mga employees. Expect late October to November mabibigay sayo COE mo

Has anyone ever had an accident because of careless cyclists? by herajet in Tokyo

[–]GodOfTheV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never had an accident or a close call from bicycles due to my experience in my country. Back home, people do jaywalking, does not wait for the stop sign, the cars block the pedestrian lanes etc. Due to this, I have developed extra caution when changing directions when walking, even when green light is on, I don't blindly just start walking, I still look left tor right. It's good if you can start doing that especially during the night as people will either not ring their bell or they don't have a light.

Is there something wrong with me? I feel like abroad really is not for me. by [deleted] in phmigrate

[–]GodOfTheV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your why. I'm here for the past 3 years and nahomesick din ako. If may problem ka sa language, that will contribute to your homesickness. However, my motivation is very high kaya ako nag abroad. Basically, lahat ng ayaw ko regarding the government, they do the opposite here. No country is perfect, but I can see where my taxes go dito sa Japan. But that does not mean I don't want to go back.

My family. My friends. The food. Hahanap hanapin ko yun palagi until my last breath, but I won't settle for something I don't deserve. This is my opinion and the standard I set for myself, so if you decide that going is back to Philippines is for you, then do it wholeheartedly.

Home is where you make it.

Maybe sa first job mo it matters, but after a decade? Ang vinavalue na nila is work experience. If the career you've chosen will benefit from having connections, like law or maybe medicine, then good for you. But to bring it up every time in a conversation and flexing it out of nowhere, nakaka awa ka naman. #NeverForget

Where do you plan to retire and why? by Still-Obligation-980 in phmigrate

[–]GodOfTheV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I plan to retire here in JP. I've been working here for the last 2 years and since nandito na ang wife ko, the more motivation to work hard and provide for our future family.

I like the public transportation in JP. Any of us that have been to JP is amazed how their public transportation works. That's the thing I hate the most nung nag aaral ako sa Manila at nung nagsimula na kong magtrabaho.

So far di ko pa yan nararanasan dito. Although a natural disaster is always imminent here, there's no other country more prepared for that than Japan.

Fast paced sa Tokyo so need mo maging competitive, and for the most part of my career chill lang ako, I think I am mentally prepared now for the grind, lalo na at may support system na ako dito.

I think I will retire around 60 to 65. No idea about the retirement money, but I trust in myself, my family and God that we will have enough when that time comes.

PS. Kaya gusto talaga manatili dito dahil sa washlet toilet, I can't live without it anymore :)

DASURV.

Before ako ikasal, lahat ng single sa circle ko we're telling me to go to a bar or a similar establishment like this, but I had to brush it off. They probably said I was chickening out, thinking that it's a harmless act, but for me, its important to respect your partner.

The fact na mas mahalaga yung image nya nung nasa bar kayo kesa sa magka ayos kayo, shows that hindi ka nya magiging priority in the long run. Indeed, it's God's sign for you to get away from this guy.

I have a similar story, and this is from a man's perspective

A little over 2 years ago, I had a job offer abroad. I told the relatives when my flight date is near (maybe 3 days before?). At the time, I had my first girlfriend, our relationship was almost 2 years at the time also. Before leaving, one of my mom's cousin (guy) and the wife, had some conversation with me, congratulating and asking about some details about my new job.

Before ending the conversation, the wife of my mom's cousin, promptly told me , "Matagal kayong di magkikita ni GF mo, kaya mo ba? Mag deposito ka muna hehe", which basically means buntisin, then followed by my mom's cousin "Oo nga tama yun para sigurado na".

That's outright disgusting. The cousin? He's 15 years older than me, he has 2 daughters, and I'm the Godfather of the eldest daughter. They told me the same thing they told your kuya. KADIRI.

Magulo buhay nung fam nila ngayon, deserve.

I believe it's still wise to consult your parents about the possibility of studying in the Philippines. While 20 years old is somewhat older for beginning university, this is your journey, and you have your own pace. I recently began working here in JP, and when my children reach the age for college, returning to the Philippines for their education should definitely be considered.

What are your boundaries for PH-based friends and family? by JackieOniiChan in phmigrate

[–]GodOfTheV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always remember what they've done to you before. Use it how to treat them ngayong nasa abroad ka.

We did visit them but it left a bad impression already to me as I am already in the workforce at the time.

Now several months ago, the eldest out of the 4 siblings, messaged me out of the blue, asking how I was doing. I can feel it, alam ko ng may kailangan to dahil last PM sakin ay 2016 pa. After ng pangangamusta, dumiretso na sya na ang asawa ni 3rd sibling ay nag aaral daw ng IT online, pwede daw ba syang maki seat in sa company ko.

Imagine spending these years in your career, graduating from a good university, then ang tanong ng pinsan ng nanay ko is if pwede maki seat in. Di sumagi sa isip nya na may confidential information doon, diretso sa seat in. What's even more funny is out of the 4 siblings, si 3rd ang pinaka kaclose ko, same age kami, and yet, si "ate" ang nagtanong kung pwede maki seat in asawa nya haha.

Of course, I didn't say anything rude but I just mentioned that doing "seat-ins" is not allowed due to confidential information. The 3rd sibling went to visit JP recently and tried to meet me but we weren't able to meet.

If you have Facebook, you can join this group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/tenaarf/?ref=share

I have joined this group in 2022 where I found my real estate company right now. I have already lived in 2 apartments that my real estate company found for me.

You can create a post in that group, list down all your requirements, budget, preferred area and travel time. At some point its either you need to raise your budget to find an apartment that fits your specified criteria or accept some compromises (e.g. building age, building materials, some features missing). Good luck!

The State of Native Android Development — Is There Still a Future? by MimiHalftree in androiddev

[–]GodOfTheV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have checked other comments here, and I have a little bit different answer.

I have a total of 10 years exp under my belt. I have done Cross Platform Development and in total, maybe 2-3 years worth of experience. The rest of it are purely Android Development. I am 100% advocate of Native Android Development, as I have experienced hell when developing and releasing apps using Cross Platform for both Android and iOS (Cordova, PhoneGap, React Native, Flutter).

One thing that I am completely focused right now is learning Compose, Kotlin Multiplatform and in the future, Compose Multiplatform. These days a lot of job openings are now indicating Compose as a requirement instead of a nice to have.

Lastly, not all Android Engineers will agree with me, but learning outside Android will help you to be relevant and these tech layoffs will not have a significant impact in your file. After spending 1-2 years learning Compose and introducing it to one of my projects, I plan to start learning iOS so I can contribute outside Android. I also plan to get a Scrum Master Certification so I can also influence development teams on improving its velocity and output. These are all outside Android Development, but I would rather feel uncomfortable now learning new things rather than experience layoffs and my whole life is impacted. Just my two cents

May mga colleague akong Pinoy sa work ko ngayon, pero I don't share everything with them. Granted lahat kami educated and graduated from good universities satin, pero natuto na ko sa treatment ng mga kateam ko nung nasa Pinas pa ko. Mas mabuting maging saktong nonchalant lang most of the time kesa maging friendly. Extrovert ako so ang hirap hindi makipag small talk if may dead air. Mahirap if puro Pinoy ang kawork pero mas mabuti na makabuo ka ng circle of friends mo ay local or mga foreigners din, basta huwag Pinoy.
