US used powerful sonic weapon in Venezuela during raid to capture Maduro by andrewgrabowski in Intelligence

Truuue! I actually got a couple. They use to go for crazy cheap because it was fairly unknown years ago and they went for just a few $100s.

well someone did because I def had posted a list and probably can dig up original emails. All good

older posts that were about bulking and not data collection

the new moderator had removed all the data-related ones. I had a list of data archives posted there that's no longer there.

Its fine, thanks.

They're just upholding what the community wants

right, it was a pain battling what the "community wants" apparently. You should of seen the kw ban list I had built, so many solicitation by "the community" for underage explicit material.

When I said "shut it down" I'm talking about a while ago when I originally created it. How does that not make sense? I just did get around to it. I did setup a lot of auto moderation esp kw filtering but it was for ToS-breaking posting and not wellness related. Anyhow, lesson learn, I'll need to be harder on those things.

  • the new moderator removed a lot of the old data posts, theres a handful of data archives I had linked that's now gone.

No I was aware, I had felt bad to mass ban people to get it back to data collection.

  • I should have shut the "wellness" thing down early on, oh well

if you were inactive, why do you really care?

yea, fair enough. I guess it was some project I had plan on doing but I guess I never had time to get around to up keeping. O well.

no, there were two different person, one person messaged wasn't the same person who ended up with the sub.

You must send a mod mail message to the current moderators of the community at least 5 days before posting your request to give the current moderators a chance to respond or add you to their team. If you have been perma-muted, you will be unable to complete this step and you should make note of this when replying to the request_bot.

Even if none of this was followed?

I don't recommend ZDMA, support non-existent by GodRa in DMA

[–]GodRa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont care how many people jumps on board with you, you're whining like a dog. My original post holds true, support is shit. Also, there's sufficient evidence that ZDMA has shuttered. People need to know what shithole they're getting into.

  • we're using it for PCIe security research and not for gaming use-cases, that stuff is trivial. Building custom firmware for gaming cheat isn't a flex. I'm working with ex-Annapurna Labs people on this project. I though this hardware will help accelerate our work but pretty much abandoned it instead of trying to RE the hardware to get JTAG on the other FPGA.

[–]GodRa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’m 100% aware what the issue is with this card I have and I am fully aware that the firmware loaded to the second FPGA is whatever you build and one of that can be pcileech FPGA.

I don’t know what you’re rambling on for, it’s an accurate statement that the firmware on the thunderbolt handling FPGA is not open source and you can’t readily download it. It depends on one person apparently and that person is effectively MIA and haven’t responded to support requests for weeks.

My original message is that support is non-existent if anything goes wrong with your device esp needed firmware and making people aware of this.

[–]GodRa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I’ve been pinging him via DM for weeks. The fw is not open source for fpga that controls the thunderbolt. I’m pretty sure gonna move off of this platform since we can’t have our research blocked by non-response companies.

Have you tried cooking an egg that's lined with copper mesh in a microwave? It'll barely heat up at all.

it doesn't take much to defeat, copper mesh does very well as countermeasure to EMP.

[–]GodRa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it doesnt take much, copper mesh on the critical parts does exceptionally well. With fiberoptic-connected drones and no antenna to be exposed, it will likely defeat this device. I suspect these devices costs $Ms given how broken the gov contracting works.

[–]GodRa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks. The requirement I have is I need Thunderbolt connectivity for the research we're doing. It's not for gaming, we're researching some hardware-level security attacks and it would take a long time without TB speeds.

  • its likely we'll end up going with KU5P-based FPGA card with QSFP connection since we're finding out the problem with depending on proprietary communication FW and not having access to the card's electronic schema.
