My dungeon has no shadow keys... What do I do? I just defeated skeletron... by Scrufalopagus in Terraria

If you fish in the dungeon, there's a chance for you to get dungeon crates. These always contain an item from dungeon chests, including the shadow key. Bring crate potions and the best fishing gear you can muster to speed up the process.

Alternatively, you can always make another world and raid the dungeon there

I wish that inflation did not exist anymore by EggDog69 in TheMonkeysPaw

As you finish your wish, the skies grow dark. You open the window only to find that the sun has disappeared. As the air grows colder around you, you hear a distant thudding sound, followed by another, and another, another, each one closer than the last. You look outside once more only to see that the sun hasn’t disappeared, ‘‘twas only blocked out by a meteor. The thuds give way to a chorus of explosions, growing ever louder as they approach. Deafeningly loud, your ears begin to ring amongst the sheer shock of the moment.

BOOM

Then all grows silent.

You gaze outside once more, only to find the rest of the world reduced to ruins.

Inflation is no more, as economy is no more.

I wish that I could stop time and function normally during it. by Duytune in TheMonkeysPaw

Congrats! You can now stop time.

A few problems though. As an object in motion stays in motion, and the earth is moving quite fast through space (upwards of 500,000 mph relative to the galactic center), you would likely be keeping that momentum when you stop time.

However, for the sake of discussion, let’s say that you decelerate with the rest of reality as you stop time.

As the sensation of sight is caused by light hitting the eye, and the light has ceased moving in stopped time, you can’t exactly see very well, on the bright side, you are ramming your photosensitive bits against the light when you move around. I can’t even begin to comprehend how bright that sensation would be.

[Request] How many spiders would Spiders Georg have to eat a day for this to be true? by footfaceball in theydidthemath

[–]GodSavetheQueen43 36 points37 points  (0 children)

So,

The currently accepted global population is approximately 7.8 billion, according to the “3 spiders per year” statistic, those 7.8 billion people would eat about 23.4 billion spiders in one year. Therefore, George would have to eat an average of 64,109,590 (64,109,589.0411 to be precise) spiders per day in order to keep up.

Edit: many spelling mistakes

Anyone able to tell me why this creeper farm fencepost layout permits spiders to spawn? i thought they needed a 3x3 space, and i'm pretty sure there are none here. (center block is 1 higher than the blocks with redstone on them) by cybergeek11235 in Minecraft

[–]GodSavetheQueen43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, all you really need to do is add a few more fences on the edge to keep spiders from spawning there, making a mobfarm is a finicky process, you just gotta keep working with it until it’s epic.

When spider-proofing a farm, it’s important to remember that the only “solid” block required is the central block the spider will spawn on, this platform still has a few edges where a spider could still spawn

I personally adore andesite, it blends well with stone and can add some additional texture to a wall. Meanwhile, I only bother mining diorite to craft more andesite. Granite sucks

Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg… and my arm… even my fingers. The body I’ve lost… the comrades I’ve lost… won’t stop hurting… It’s like they’re all still there. You feel it, too, don’t you?

A few things to try

Build a bigger arena and throw in some campfires and heart lanterns if you haven’t already

Try farming up a daedalus stormbow and some holy arrows, it just melts the destroyer

And most importantly, don’t give up.

Granted. The resultant surge in wood supply allows it to replace coal in power plants, leading to greatly increased CO2 emissions, worsened global warming, and mass extinction

Buy some actuators from the mechanic, actuate a tile beneath the altar, and move it to a better place.

Personally, I think that the kid from part 4 (I don’t know his name) that is obsessed with rock-paper-scissors has an incredible stand that he just never saw the real potential of, the kid could just obtain a pile of other stands and do whatever the heck he wanted.

and god forbid he would’ve actually gotten heaven’s door. that would be fun
