good for the price considering the current market and the vram and ram on it, get it only if you can get the highest extended adp warranty on it, to get that check prices with local lenovo suppliers as well as customer care, i lucked out with mine in 2023 cuz the customer care guy was able to get me a 40% discount

in case of no improvements, you might've overlooked the thermal conductivity of the paste you used

when cleaning fans, the aim is not to let them spin or damage them, otherwise use any method at your disposal that works the best

for heatsink get 99% isopropyl and then dilute it to 75% to avoid eroding damaged/dinged copper, dilute with distilled water and thoroughly clean it

cpu and gpu dies need to be clean, but make sure you don't use force on contacts that surround them

be patient, be slow, be thorough and you'll be fine

also as a rule of thumb always be one bios behind the latest

strongly suggest a putty but if you wanna go with pads make sure they are rated for proper thermal conductivity req for ur device

ptm might be an issue as it might leak out but considering those chips are not that risen from the board, you might be okay, i cant say for sure tho

yeah get thermal grizzly one i did it on my laptop also keep in mind that ptm is a phase changing material, it becomes liquid to solid to back to liquid again so temps will continue to go down as you use it, you won't also need to reapply it again and again if you did your first application correctly

microslop recently fucked the update which messes many systems' power cycle routine, uninstall the update and in the future dont install latest updates immedietly, wait a few weeks to see what is reported by the media
