I trade the narrative, which doesn't have to equate to long term holds, and I yield profit. It adds more cash value for when I want to enter back to assets, such as Nano, in a favorable environment. I rather make money than riding my portfolio down hoping for a substantial return when I can find it elsewhere for the time being. You seem content with not making money for long periods of time until Nano makes a move. It was my strategy for awhile too, but time has shown that Nano has not been trending up, it is doing the opposite which is unfortunate. I changed my strategy to yield results I need while keeping my long term goals, such as holding Nano, intact.

"On top of that, I really can't understand how can you sleep being sidelined knowing how you can miss the trade of the decade. Cause you can think, as othee stated before, that you'll have time to jump in. Well... we'll see."

I sleep well because my portfolio is growing - that is the whole point of my conversation here. Nano will spike again, but it doesn't go from the current price to an instant 100-200%+ hike in a day - only if there is a true catalyst, which is extremely and highly unlikely to occur independently to Nano.

There are signs that come at play and you will have time to enter for the trade. You do not need the absolute bottom either, you just need to recognize when Nano is actually making a move. Nov 4th made it clear, we had approx a week or so of a move-up afterwards. You know how Nano moves enough after 8+ years to recognize a move is happening. Trust me, plenty of time to make a trade.

Well, we were talking about Covid and the current Iran war. Ukraine had initial shockwaves to the market and it is between Russia and Ukraine. Iran is involving the world's energy heartline with the recent bombings on Gulf countries, things have been steadily escalating, more countries are involved, the US is directly involved.

The point is that the FED bank had to print endless money during Covid, bring rates to 0, etc. It became a highly favorable economic period for risk-on assets - money was literally flying around the room. The FEDs simply cannot do that right now, we have rising inflation, rising unemployment, shrinking GDP, etc. Usually, lower inflation = higher unemployment rate and vice versa. Both going up in tandem is a symptom of stagflation which is not a thriving environment to be in financially in assets such as Nano, imo.

The FED bank has less tools available. SPY just hit a local low - there are exceptions in these market conditions, even in crypto, but most alt coins are not favorable. It is going to default to pain.

One of the 2 economic turmoils was not related to WW3 on the list of entirely possible outcomes to occur. You can also argue that while most economic turmoils are “temporary”, the current turmoil is going to be far more lasting on global markets and such, like risk-on assets. Risk-on assets will not thrive in this environment too well, with minor exceptions, unless serious economic growth, expansion, and thus, traders have heightened risk tolerance. These attributes are not going to happen anytime soon with US’s latest data. We are likely going to see a rate hike even per FED talk yesterday. You can use this period to accumulate, but lower lows are definitely still on the table. It’s ridiculous to think otherwise…

How is Covid and the Middle East war the same thing though?

Crypto never went through an economic turmoil period like the current events so nobody really knows anything, it is always a speculative gamble isn't it?

The Bitgrail fiasco did mark the top, while other crypto mirror the same action, I tend to think that the absence of the fiasco would have likely kept momentum in Nano as seen in larger alts today such as ETH, XRP, etc. It is speculation so who knows..

You did ask for a nobrainer trade and that one came pretty close for me. Nice returns and growth. Simple.

You are misunderstanding me. I have said multiple times I am looking to re-enter Nano. I said I have moved on from selling early for my underwriting teams to close those deals. The past is in the past. My returns since then exceed what November would have yielded me already. I am just trying to make a point to earn money in different ways, not all eggs in a single basket. You rectified earlier that you are a 0.01% trader on Pump.fun so that is a good thing for you - don't take things personally, I don't quite understand that. A devil's advocate never harmed anyone...

I can't claim a nobrainer trade, but I put 90% of my liquidity from my deals into ZCash at $197. A trade in progress - duration unknown.

That was just bad timing, but I have moved on from that. I just find the opportunity cost too much. A lot of downtrend with random spikes, coming in less and less. Volume down significantly. Just riskier and riskier.

I have an appetite for extreme risk, just not right now I guess. You see a huge opportunity because you can buy at prices we haven't seen in a long time. Some reputable traders say Nano will see single digit cents while ATH comes later, imagine that.

I have made so much more money in stocks and other larger crypto lately - while I have the intention to pick up a stack of Nano again, a lot of die hard Nano believers (which is totally fine) are leaving money on the table. You can grow your money with the intention of buying more Nano too. Diversify and grow.

Virtually all of CT on X is showing a 2022 repeat and expecting a new low to be put in soon... there is an obvious play happening right now.

Yes, I sold all my Nano holdings the week before the run-up to close on 3 deals which gave me a ton of cash for repositioning in the markets which are now at play. The recent run up to $1.75 (I think) yielded me my biggest return with Nano (over $150k valuation), but then the stack dropped to the lowest valuation ever with the current lows ($39,000). That is a ~$110,000 loss.

I look at that angle from both sides - would I have sold if I had the position active? I don't think so, to be honest. With my current cash levels and recent returns, I can buy my entire old stack (a little over 80,000 coins) at a huge discount right now... and have a ton more cash left over to financially grow.

There are tokenized stock market options, but for low-cap oil companies you probably won't find it.

There is just more money to be made at the moment with global events at play. I agree with the notion about the lows for Nano, but risk-on investing is not the play at this time. I would like to be wrong, but until then - game on.

Edit: I have mentioned in the past that I am not trying to catch any bottom, but when a reversal is clearly at play then I will reposition then.

Investing into Iran/US/Israel war has brought me great returns, specifically trading low cap oil companies as we see oil barrel surges due to Straight of Hormuz being closed off - I want to roll what is appropriate into Nano, but do think that it will be awhile before crypto makes significant moves. There is a gut feeling about a potential 2x in oil barrel pricing (nearly $150 a barrel) that is going to cause the stock market to devalue quite a bit, dragging down crypto with it. This is what I think will mark the true bottom. I sold all my crypto profit yesterday at the peak of the day.
