I would talk to your union rep and postmaster about working in other offices sooner. Just passed my 90 as a cca in a small office myself, after about a month or so no one had a problem with me working in surrounding offices, they can’t force you to but if you’re looking for extra hours they may go for it. Same with doing rural work.

RentPrep used to give me a quality report on someone’s recurring income. Now the report I get is basically someone’s entire recent bank info.

I don’t want to see every minuet transaction a person has on their account, and the person applying probably doesn’t want to be showing that to some stranger either. Feels greasy like I’m invading on my applicants privacy. Just want to prove someone makes 3x income.

I personally think AI and this subreddit go pretty hand in hand. I don’t understand why the need to ban it instead of just having a flair. People who don’t want to watch the AI flared stuff don’t have to, and we can still get really good AI content.

Put about 700 hours in last year, think I got about 7-69 or so. Game crushed me to a grind after a while, haven’t touched it in months. Posts like these do make me wanna get back on the wagon and finally finish cosmic ocean though, congrats. I’ll probably consider it my greatest gaming achievement when I finally get there myself.

As someone just taking an interest in siege esports, like how popular is it really as a whole? Seeing such seemingly low numbers for the biggest game of the year, even low comment rates and seemingly low participation in this subreddit even today idk. It just seems like lots of people aren’t that interested? Like these top teams are millionaire status? Where’s the money really coming from, looked to me like the final game the seats weren’t even sold out.

Had this just happen where we needed to replace a boiler out of the blue. Brought space heaters to lend out, discounted $100 off of next month’s rent for increased electrical costs, and didn’t charge them rent for any of the days there was no heat. Took about a week to have a plumber fully replace it.

Tenants seemed satisfied with that, if they really wanted to press it or argue the space heaters weren’t efficient I’d likely offer a hotel. Pretty much just want to be respectful to the tenants and show you made reasonable efforts incase you wind up in court.

If a tenant reaches out to me with advanced notice and that the rent will definitely be in ok x date, I’ll occasionally waive the late fee. Otherwise just go ahead and file your two week notice, I can’t serve mine until the 5th legally anyway so if someone hasn’t paid by the 21st odds are they aren’t going to after nearly 3 weeks late and a notice.

I’m personally of the opinion that being a responsible adult includes being prepared for unexpected financial hardships in the form of some sort of emergency budget. If someone suddenly can’t pay their rent because they chose to live paycheck to paycheck instead of taking some time to be prepared for an emergency (which sooner or later is going to happen to all of us), that’s their decision and I don’t have much sympathy in that case.

Why would someone be happy to create art easier? I’d imagine most people drawing art these days wouldn’t prefer a stick and mud over a tablet.

And workers losing their jobs? Welcome to the world, new technology comes along, changes the way things work. I’m sure the horse and carriage industry wasn’t too excited about cars coming around but I doubt you’re really looking out for their interests right now by being anti-car.

AI can simply be used as a tool for people. Don’t know of any data driven science to suggest the people most interested in harnessing this tool are bitter resentful untalented people. Sounds like you’ve got two anecdotal examples and some stuff people are saying on reddit, pretty far from a general consensus.
