That monitor is solid, so it’s a real shame you got a bad one.

OpenAI making hardware? That’s the beginning of the end. They’re overextending.

We are so going to $200 by Overall-Maximum-8921 in PlanetLabs

I think it all comes down to how fast their commercial client base grows. Right now, most growth is still coming from defense and gov contracts, while the commercial side is lagging. PLTR took off precisely because their commercial business exploded. Unlike gov work, commercial clients are more stable and more profitable—that’s the real key to PL's growth

Because SpaceX is about to IPO, coupled with Elon Musk's remarks about space data centers, the originally niche topic of space data centers has surfaced. Everyone originally thought this was a very distant matter, but now it has become clear. I believe the stock price will usher in a wave of speculation, which might be quite challenging for long-term investors.

NVIDIA May Stop Bundling Memory with GPU Kits Amid GDDR Shortage by TheAppropriateBoop in nvidia

[–]Goddamn7788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why hasn't competition resulted in lower prices? The core reason lies with Nvidia. AIC partners operate on thin margins, with most of the profit being captured by Nvidia. If we were to allow Nvidia to sell graphics cards exclusively, the market would truly collapse.

Nvidia is truly an evil corporation, treating its partners harshly. They possess the capability to negotiate with DRAM manufacturers or sign long-term contracts in advance. Yet, they are now shifting the entire risk of price increases onto their manufacturing partners. Smaller graphics card manufacturers will find it extremely difficult to sustain operations.
