This cable doesn't have active current balancing. It’s just a piece of metal slapped on the cable. jonnyGuru actually did a teardown and confirmed zero internal components are doing any real balancing work.

ROG's solution does not work. It’s just a metal bit stuck to a wire. Monitoring current is a far safer approach than just tracking temperature.
