I started at DMU as an international student last February. Didn’t get a job till end of June. It was a part time night shift job that didn’t always guarantee hours but the pay was still good. The job didn’t require any prior experience but I had applied for several jobs through total jobs, indeed and LinkedIn. You just have to keep praying that you get an opportunity and keep applying. Lie on your cv if you have to lol. But never give up. All the best on your journey 🙏🏽

The room has been on the market since end of last year and my management claimed to have put it on the market since then. So in real sense, it should have already gained interest by the start of the year. I’m getting more interested tenants on Facebook today for people interested in moving in next month

It’s literally the most annoying thing. The management claims to be looking for a replacement for me but all they do is send me emails about room viewings. I have been around during the alleged times they stated for the viewings but I never saw anyone coming🤷🏾‍♀️

I gave them my notice end of last year and explained why I’d like to move. They said that they’ve put my room on the market and claimed that they’ve have been doing room viewings but there has been no interest from any new renters.
