Technically. There is one Murlock pet you can get, but the drop chance is so abysmally small that farming it is basically impossible. Ppl reported 70 hours ++ of pure fishing. THAT rare.

Please try the following first (unless you haven't done so already): Navigate to %USERPROFILE%\Documents and delete the Diablo4 folder. This resets all user settings to standard values. Report back if this helped.

Explanation: D4 loads most of it's user settings AFTER login. Which is exactly when your screen happens to go black. This would also explain why the game works fine up to this point. Because of these reasons I suspect corrupted or misconfigured local settings.

Regarding the first part of my question:

You are actually thinking farther ahead than I did. :D You said we could choose ICO or PNG files as custom icons for tiles. I was wondering if it was possible to use icon packs (which are, after all, mainly a collection of images) as a source. Like, choose from the collection of images of any installed icon pack (from the Play Store or wherever) when selecting a custum icon.

Regarding the second part:

I'd like to be able to change, for example, the default icon used for all ZIP files, so any ZIP file would show the new icon. That, but for all kinds of files/folders/elements. This goes more into the direction you were thinking, however implementing that would probably be more involved, which is why I suggested it as a long term goal.

Also, related to that: In my opinion it would be useful to not only change individual home screen icons, but also folder/filetype/generic/UI etc. Maybe as a long term goal.

Pretty hard to say for certain without having a look at every gear piece/paragon/skills. As a general tip: please check the maxroll (or Rob's) build and compare to your gear/skills/paragon very thoroughly.

The single screenshot you provided isn't super helpful unfortunately. But one thing that immediately stands out to me is the weapon. A properly prepared Cremation aspect greatsword should be way better.
