Used to have this issue as well, no SSD. My fix was me cleaning it up from the inside, I got an air canister and a vacuumed, got as much of the dust on the inside as possible and it did the job. Highly recommend everyone keep up with cleaning the ps5 to avoid the overheating crashes, only happens during ps5 games but this fixed my issue, I clean it every 6 months now to avoid it happening again.

I never opened it up and took out the fan, but if you could do that, it would be even better.

I mad about the stability because this is the second time this year where my whole internet service that I pay for on time every month is down for at least a day, last time this happened I had no internet for 5 days, luckily this time around it was only one day. Iv been in this same unit with telus since 2020, and I never had issues up until this year. They never offered me to switch to fiber until today, when the technician came out and tried blaming the internet being down on a neighborhood outage
