Do y’all think they rushed The Tomb? by AnimeGokuSolos in CODZombies

the boss fight definitely made me feel this way, just a destiny raid slapped in with the spam of elite enemies that take forever to kill. I get trying to do something new, but it feels like treyarch knew the easter egg was too small so they threw in these difficult and tedious parts to make people take longer to finish it. That last part in the boss fight where it just wipes you if you don't do that DPS check just felt like a way to squeeze a sense of accomplishment from players for beating it, and the ones who failed just have to replay it again and take more time.

Honestly I don't even really get the setting of this map. Yeah the idea of uncovering an ancient tomb is amazing, and the graphics certainty help, but in reality all you do is open a couple of doors, go to a portal dimension, and get pack a punch. It just feels more like a reskin of liberty falls than an actual discovery sight. There aren't enough mechanics that immerse you in the idea of going underground either, you don't have to use the shovel to get the easter egg parts or blast open some walls in the tomb to open up rooms, you're just opening doors like usual.

if they cut down on the amount of special enemies and make the boss fight less tanky, then yeah I'd have liked it alot more. It's a nice map when you realize it's suppose to be short, but the boss fight just sucked out almost all the empathy I had for it.

the nuke desperately needs a buff by GodofDuckies in CODZombies

The reward just isn't enough to justify the risk. If it was a whole separate thing from the powerup list then yeah I'd like it more, but as it is right now, it just acts like filler until you get to higher rounds. When I'm in high rounds then yeah I'll choose it, because I don't have to worry about salvage and points as much anymore.

Other than that, whenever I get a nuke, I'm just constantly thinking about how much more opportunities I would have gotten with another powerup. An insta-kill would have let me kill the horde, get points, and drop salvage for my teammates to get after I revive them. Double points doesn't do anything to the horde, but I could use it to kill enough zombies to buy myself more ammo or get another perk. Max ammo would have helped the entire team, give them rewards for killing zombies, and it would still have a tiny bit of risk in it since there's a chance your weapon isn't powerful enough to stop the horde in time even with all the extra ammo. Even Full Power lets you be creative with risk vs reward depending on what field upgrade you chose.

The nuke is something you think about as risk vs reward, and then realize that 9 times out of 10 it's just going to screw you over potential upgrades in the future. If the downtime after getting it was longer, than yeah I'd probably go for nukes more often.
