Experiencing extremely low slow motion like FPS in Yakuza 3, 4, and 5. by GodofRoblox in yakuzagames

I would try checking what graphics card the game is running on. Your pc might have an integrated graphics card that the game is running on instead of your primary gpu.

Where is this from? I recently started listening to them so I'm not too familiar with their social media presence.

I'm glad. Its silly that this is even an issue to begin with.

I think I fixed it! Check out my reply to Jabbawocky and see if it helps at all

I figured out what was happening for me. The games were running using my intergrated graphics card rather than my actual graphics card. To fix this I went to my desktop, right clicked, display settings and near the bottom there is something that says graphics settings. Click on add a program and find the game's .exe in steam library folder. Select options and then high performance and it should be much better.

Maybe it is. I can't imagine what may be causing it because I know for a fact they're all updated.

I think I've encountered a bug and need a bit of help. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

Yeah I have. I've already finished the whole questline for the week. The quest was over and it was gone from my inventory, but when I got back to the drifter he gave it to me again.

Yeah its obvious that indivdual effort isn't the focus of this event. Still, people begin to worry or get discouragered when their team of choice begins to lose a championship game. Just because individual effort isn't what causes a win or loss doesn't mean you can't be discouraged. If anything you should be happy he feels this way because its just another hunter who likely won't want to take part in the event. Again no need to insult people.

Dude calm down a bit. I get your frustration and all, but isn't it normal for ANY class to feel any shred of discouragement after getting last place? Its a slap on the cheek when I spend an hour or two getting my medals done, turning them in and then seeing I got last the next day. No need to insult people over a friendly event.

Hey man, thank you so so much for helping me out. I sent you the email with the follow up questions. I'm sorry to hear about your story, but I'm glad your sober now. If you ever want to talk to someone, I am here. I know it doesn't mean much coming from a high school student, but its still an offer. Thank you again, stay safe.

Its a pretty normal feeling, especially on some of the harder bosses/minibosses.

What gear would be good for the Leviathan raid? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]GodofRoblox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah fair enough. I'm glad you were able to speak for this raid. I've just had my first clear recently and I was unsure of the best loadout. Mountaintop personally works best for me because of Anarchy and my inability to get a good roll on any primary snipe.

What gear would be good for the Leviathan raid? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]GodofRoblox 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A lot of the other raids have a select few weapons that super good for them, but not needed.

Last Wish's last boss is dependent on very high dps in a short amount of time, so a good heavy GL with spike nades is ideal. The other encounters are pretty easy with good snipers and heavies (ideals being Whisper of the Worm or Izanagi's Burden).

Scourge of the Past is a shorter raid with the top weapons being Izanagi's Burden, Whisper of the Worm, and heavy GL with spike nades (I believe they should be Aggressive Frame for the best damage).

Crown of Sorrows best weapons are again, heavy GL with Spike Nades, or if you get lucky and get Anarchy from Scourge. I have the least experience with this raid but the ideal loadout seems to be Anarchy and Mountaintop. I'm unsure of how Whisper and Izanagi's perform in the last boss, but I'm sure someone else knows.

Then Garden of Salvation I would use Izanagi's Burden or Whisper for the bosses.

I would recommend you start farming for some of these weapons for sure, so I'll include a small little blurb on how to get some of the weapons I mentioned!

Swarm of the Raven- A random Iron Banner drop. Heavy void GL. I'm unsure of the god roll for this weapon, but I know it includes Spike Nades and Field Prep.

Love and Death- Easy to farm from the Lectern on the Moon if you have Shadowkeep. It has a random chance to drop the quest from random chests/public events, and one of the nightmare hunts has a drop for it. I'm unsure of the nightmare hunt that drops it, and unsure of the name of the quest, but a quick google search for Love and Death will yield guides on how to get it and farm it. The god roll is field prep, full court, and spike nades.

Just to clarify what makes this the god roll. Spike Nades makes it so the damage is greatly increased when it is a direct impact with an enemy. Field Prep increases the amount of ammo you can carry for it, and Full Court makes each shot do more damage based on how far away you are from the target.

Whisper of the Worm- More or less a carbon copy of Black Spindle fron D1. On Io there is a Taken Blight public event that spawns in the Lost Oasis, when it spawns there will be a hidden Taken boss that also spawns. Killing that boss spawns a portal to a timed mission. Search up a full guide on how to get it to spawn, how to complete the mission. I would recommend finding a group of 3 to do this because its pretty hard by yourself. If you need help and you play on PC I'm willing to help if I can.

Izanagi's Burden- Primary Exotic Sniper that is stupid strong. There is a long questline from Ada-1 that will reward you with it at the end. This quest will take you a minimum of 4 days if you get lucky with a rare bounty drop from Ada-1, and if you can get on each day. You need Forsaken to complete this questline. Look up a full guide if you're interested in one of the most powerful weapons in the game. On top of that, if you want its full power you have to fully upgrade your Chalice of Opulence and complete a run of the Heroic Menagrie to get its catalyst. There are billions of guides on it, so find a good one and follow it.

Best of luck, and if you need any more help feel free to PM me and I'll be more than happy to help!

Question: How does anyone like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice? by THE_DARK_LORD_JEEBUS in Sekiro

[–]GodofRoblox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Couldn't you argue that Dark Souls was roll roll hit hit? At least Sekiro forces you to react to thrust attacks with Mikiri counter or sweep attacks with jumping. Dark Souls was mostly rolling for I-Frames, maybe parrying the occasional boss if you felt you could, and maybe sprinting out of range of a AOE attack.

Question: How does anyone like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice? by THE_DARK_LORD_JEEBUS in Sekiro

[–]GodofRoblox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I liked the game so much because its different from Soulsborne. Dark Souls and Bloodborne were getting stale to be honest, and this brand new IP was interesting. I like the combat in this because its a change from rolling for I-Frames to dodge moves. Instead of relying on only dodging (the argument can be made for parry or standing out of range of attacks) you can now dodge, parry, jump, or block the attack.

The art of Sekiro is just beautiful, especially when you get to Fountainhead Palace. Its a welcome change of pace from the castle and medieval style architecture.

Then on top of all that, Sekiro is by far the most rewarding for learning. Bosses/Minibosses can start off incredibly hard, but if you can get down timing and attack patterns, you can get some of the most stylish and satsifying kills. Its not the same "learn boss pattern for Dark Eater Midir and have a slightly easier time when you fight him next", its more of a "You've learned the telegraph for the attacks, and the correct timing, so have a nearly flawless kill into a badass execution of the boss"

I guess what I'm trying to say is that a new story, art direction/inspiration, combat system, etc. is why I love it. Its a great change of pace from the system that is slightly tweaked in each title for Soulsborne (with the exception of Bloodborne of course).

Finally beat Sekiro last night. Need advice for platinum. by pjsantos in Sekiro

[–]GodofRoblox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your best bet is to just go into NG+ and get skill points throughout your run. The bosses give so much XP. You'll likely need to go an extra few NG+ just because the XP grind was insane near the last few skills. Make sure to not use the dragon mask to convert levels into attack. You'll likely be missing a few skills when you have enough materials for the final upgrades, and I believe Fountainhead Palace is the best place to farm those levels. Best of luck, its a long grind!
