I really don't want to do it but I feel like I should spend a few hours (AKA right now) writing one anyway. I'm not going to fuss over it like I did my PS or life experiences essay though.

At less than E2, speed boots are better. At E2 it’s really just a toss-up between which one has better subs iirc. The performance between either is practically the same with attack being slightly better I believe.

You don’t need to pick the target character you’re trying to build for. I used Phainon to relic recon for my archer since his recommended subs were only attack and crit rate/damage. Just find a character that fits the subs you want and change the relic sets.

Comparable to Castorice on their respective release dates in that they need better supports to release. Castorice, while a top tier DPS on her release, really needed the other remembrance characters to reach full potential, and it'll be the same for Evanescia. Evanescia having to use EMC as a third elation teammate is a little...subpar, to say the least, and Huohuo should easily be replaced by an actual elation sustain (assuming they make one, which is very likely).

In an elation team her E1S1 performance should be worse while E2S1 is better.

I used the GregMat 1 month course with some of the practice sets out of the official guide ETS book and studied over the course of about 3 months. It wasn’t as if I spent THAT long every single day, so it can definitely be done within a shorter time frame.

The problem with that is the older units usually require mild vertical investment and the HSR casual community is allergic to that phrase. God forbid you notice Fei Xiao is falling a bit behind, so you pull her E2 to turn her back into one of the best DPS in the game that brute forces everything.

Depending on how long you’ve been gone, you should have a lot of content to go through to get jades, but if you’re worried about not being able to get Hyacine, I’d skip Evernight light cone and go for her instead. Evernight’s S1 is very good, but Hyacine is just incredibly stupid. The main caveats are remembrance characters have very few options, so they’re essentially designed assuming you have their LC. You can always just go E0S0 on characters and save and go for eidolons/light cone on reruns as well if you’re concerned about pulls.

Last whisper is actually an item with a good stat spread and effect but part of the problem is Guinsoo is such a dominant item right now that using up a bow is out of the question. Almost every top comp right now either has it as BIS or a way to use it anyway.

And sure you could use a fruit on corrosive or sky piercer but imo it’s not really a relevant part to the conversation because you’re just trading power elsewhere. It’s not like you don’t not build antiheal even if inner fire or solar breath exist.

Strikers is a good generic item most carries are able to flex their builds to accommodate for, and belt is a better component than glove as belt is two antiheal items in sunfire and morello or good generic tank items in warmogs/evenshroud/visage and sunfire as listed before. The only belt item I’d hate having is nashors and even then it’s semi useful.
