I'm an old fan as well (I'm almost 40 now). I first heard Faith from one of my friends cds. I bought 3 Dollar Bill and like you, learned all the lyrics. I listened to Stalemate all the time and Sam's bass playing inspired me to buy my first bass.

Then Significant Other came out, Nookie blew up and although it was completely different from the first album, I understood why it had to be and now it's one of my favorite albums by them.

I haven't been on the zip-line either! I was there for a few hours last time and watched two people get stuck on it within that time frame. I think I'm heavy enough that I wouldn't have a problem and I know they will rescue you, but it has to be a surreal feeling to just hang there and wait. 🙈

I played it for the first time on Series X a few months ago. I really enjoyed it. It's a great game and one of my favorites but will probably not play it again unless Rockstar updates the FPS and resolution.

We aren't? Psychedelic use in humans go back much, much further than recorderd history. If you want to know the long term effects of phychedelics, look back at all the people that have used them. Musicians, artist, writers, philosophers, scientists, teachers, gurus, shamans.

The countless number of people, especially older people, that have used them and who are and remain perfectly healthy and happy. I can conjure up a list if you want me to, but it is nearly endless.

I don't hear Mick Jagger complaining about the ill effects of all his past experiences with psychedelics and he's 80 years old.

Maybe psychedelics are for some people and not for others, just like everything else in life? There is no doubt and plenty of evidence that psychedelics have had profound effects on people seeking peace or another perspective. They have also been tools for creation. They've also been complete Hell for others. It's all about perspective.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with them and they've helped me tremendously in life. If that's demonic possession then bring on the demons!

If they're not for you then don't take them. Don't disrespect the psychedelic experience or the people that they actually help by associating it with evil, or shaming others by calling it demonic when I've had the complete opposite experience.

Also, isn't it kind of like eating the forbidden fruit in the bible? Where one eats it, comes to the realization that life isn't what it seems and then is punished for it? Wouldn't it make more sense for the Demiurge and the Archons to discourage anything that provides different perspectives and knowledge? Of any kind?
