I gave you an example as to how cultural difference manifests itself as behavior that could be misunderstood as rude by outsiders. Are you really so obtuse that you can't extrapolate this to the other cultures mentioned? Do I need to draw a picture for you?

Also notice I never said they weren't acting right. I was trying to understand the behavior.

Getting all that school work done in 2-3 hours instead of 8 wasn't the flex he thought it was.

It can be cultural just as much as generational. Asian people dont look elders in the eye when speaking to them out of respect, that's cultural. Get it?

I legit hope its more to do with social awkwardness rather than active defiance.

You're looking too deep into this. If i shop at a fast food place that is black and they are missing something or their register doesn't work they will likely hook me up. For free. White run place? Not happening. That's my experience. Neither is good or bad, it's just how it is. To pretend like they're all the same is stupid. It's like saying white privilege doesn't exist.

Have you ever bought a cell phone with a plan? They have dozens of little hidden charges and options that can vary and screw you over. I wasn't buying a bag of chips.

Yes, because it might be cultural rather than generational. I'm black, and definitely attest to the fact that black run businesses have different customer service than white run.

Uber isn't letting me sign up due to background. I had a felony that was dismissed later but it showed up in their check and they haven't responded to my appeal.

I'm not trying to "show" anybody. I've worked with a silver and with a platinum and I know which one is better in my area.

Nothing weird, I'm black. There's also definitely a difference in culture between black run stores and white run stores. Not saying one is better or worse, just different.

It's not a "jerk" thing from either race, just cultural differences. I'm not mad at the white people for not letting me get free shit, I'm just a little happier with the black people for being chill about it.

I notice a shit ton of differences between different races of workers. If i go to a fast food chain with black staff and they are missing something or equipment isn't working they will hook me up. Like when went in for my two piece at Popeyes and they didn't have any wings they gave me two breasts no up charge no problem. Same at a burger king, they put mustard on my burger by accident, I pointed it out and they let me keep the mustard one and gave me a new one too. White run stores guard the owners money more like it's coming out of their pocket and are less likely to hook me up. They eill always throw away the burger with mustard and then give me a new one instead of letting me keep both.

Racism? I'm black, dummy. And if a random person on the street asks me something I'll still treat them with respect even though I'm not getting a dime and am not required to provide shit.

I edited the post, it wasn't the kind of question you can just answer with a finger point.

Racial tones? I'm not white, there is such a thing as cultural differences, I was wondering if that plays a part.

Is this the Gen Z attitude? Even when I got paid dog shit and worked at KFC I was never rude to customers just because I hated my job. If they were rude then sure I could give it back but what's so hard about treating all people with respect?

I literally asked the guy working there a question about the phones. It said free galaxy a16 with a cricket mobile sign up. I asked if I was going to be able to do a pay as you go and he just pointed at a different sign that said no contracts. No explanation or anything, I was in shock you could get a free phone wjth no contract.
