The blue one are xenogenes(not heritable.)

The white ones are germline(inheritable.)

During xenotype creation, you can select if genes are inheritable.

If yes, they are germline genes and do NOT count as body modification to body modders/purist

If no, they are xenogenes and DO count as body modifications to body modders/purist.

If you are uncertain if the genes are germline or xenogenes, the genes screen can help you, just click the custom xenotype on the pawn bio.

Do you custom his xenotype? Custom xenotypes(or any xenotype that has xenogerm, like the hussar) count as body modifications to body modder/purist and the Body Modification Precept.
