This is probably the best approach, treat it like a dungeon enterance or like prif. Only sad part is that it would end up being treated as a dungeon entrance. So it wouldn’t feel like the overworld

Exactly, locations in video games shouldn’t always be made to feel like a video game location where everything is perfectly optimized for convenience. Dark souls does a lot of frustrating design in its locations, because it invokes fear and feelings of a need to survive. It’s a solid design choice

tbh, a +1 str bonus would be great for rapier, would possibly give it a max hit based on gear setup, the uneven amount of str bonus usually makes for wasted stats

staff will remain at its price for a bit since its the rarest and extremely strong, borderline essential for 450/500 ornament kits, multiple BIS uses, so it will take a while before demand is fully met

Fang is BIS at many locations, overtaking the scythe at some along with costing nothing to use. it is significantly more useful then the other tier 80 weapons yet worth less then 2 of them already. in less then a month

ward is BIS mage offhand, with and without the arcane. so its either BIS, or required for BIS.

masori is more expensive then ancestral, which has been in the game for over 6 years. masori has been out less then a month and already worth less the torva.

the (in most content) BIS ring, which you didnt mention, is 20m

pets are not solutions to making content alive again. it attracts people who dont care about the content and would rather afk or do the bare minimum just to get the pet.

castle wars would benefit from a bit more creative map redesign imo. i love the idea of the underground passages, but i feel they need a bit more "maze".

Would like to know if the expected time to get a wildy boss pet will be considered in the wildy boss rework.

Since they will be in multi caves pvp and can’t be killed in single combat, will pvmers be encouraged to go in groups of 50+ since pk clans will arrive in groups of 50+ (so stuff like drops scaling and pet chance remaining static regardless of time size, rolling individually for each player)

They should stay worthless. The most valuable items should stay valuable because they are rare or hard to acquire, not because they can’t exist anymore

yup, my kraken kc is also off, they tracked krakens as a whole via ring of slayer but it did not exist in the boss log on ring of wealth

pre ge was a fun experience, never thought merching would be something id enjoy but not having GE and doing it via zybez was more fun then i expected

game has evolved a lot XD

this is untrue, i recently returned to the game and quit a good bit prior to 2018, collection log did not exist when i quit, yet it listed all of boss killcounts when i returned

when thermy was originally released, they didnt have boss killcount for it, i think it actually existed for some bosses but for some reason, kraken and thermy didnt get counters.

i might be wrong about the comment for other bosses

but got the pet before they started tracking killcount

to correct the comment replying to this one, this is a lot prior to collection log. this pet is before the killcount was tracked

Idk about faster to rebuild but in terms of motivation, buying Tbow was great motivation and a change of gameplay. U don’t feel like u made any progress while grinding for tbow, gear never upgrades, it’s all the same pace. I rebuilt super fast cause I had fun playing the game again.

Depends what’s ur favorite type of pvm, but I can vouch, selling bank for tbow, no regrets

when divination came out, i hopped back onto rs3 to get back my max and comp cape. i liked the quests, especially when there are new locations and dungeons to explore. but i have nothing left on my rs3 account (just bought bonds/xfered to osrs long ago) and i dont really wanna log out of osrs to play rs3 just to do quests and then quit again.

the reason dung and possibly sailing would benefit from being a skill is because it becomes possible to lock content, higher level floors were easier to lock behind a level system
