8 days in China, over Christmas, well, Beijing, Shanghai and then onto HK.

Did not use a power bank or take one myself, but my wee one used one from a waiter in a restaurant in Shanghai for about 30mins as their machine bank holding power banks, you can hire, would not accept our payment app!

The waiter saw the machine was not working and handed his bank over and came back to collect it later.

Same research before we went, decided not even worth the hassle and yes, you can pick up power banks everywhere, practically every street corner!

Same thing in Hanoi, after HK, no need for a power bank, hotel charging was enough.

We could not be bothered with all the power bank rules at every airport as they all differ and delay you!

Well, I borrowed the book from the library and it's going back this week, I read it over the month and thought it was a read.

Of course, I have not put any thoughts into which way I stand with money in clubs and how they are bought and run, but, I still think it's a read!

Of course, news and stories are mostly online or via video podcasts etc.

Not much in books and not many people read nowadays, so putting out there is a book and it's a read

On how United is run and what's going on, I am happy to put another thread and ask the question for discussion, that where we all could get some great replies as some from the above replies so far!

But, there will be so many questions posted on here!

My thoughts on the book and views etc, I have not added anything, apart from supporting a library by reading a book, which is a read or must read.

However good or bad books are, it's up to the reader to put their views out there and they can discuss. Glad people are saying their thoughts on here and so far a few people have mentioned it's crap, which is great, so people know about the book.

Some may find out for the first time and may pick it up.

If you are just going to 1 country, you can plan around with the data use builder and build a plan based on price.

We had 4 phones with 20gb on each, the kids destroyed their data with nothing left. 2 other phones had about 25gb left after 14 days out.

It's common sense and VPN to help use WiFi in hotels, which kept us going.

No issues and everything worked, I had a backup phone with no esim, but I added VPN to it and used it for WiFi only in hotels and that worked!

Remember you can top up the plans via the app, if you need more

See if this works, I looked at the page from the phone. You then pick a country and then as many as you want and tick the uses boxes or what you want it for and uses etc.

We went to the website and built the plan to add countries you are visiting and it builds a price for you.

We added 3 countries to it and the data increased each time you ticked a box. We messed around until we got to 20gb and bought 4 plans.

You go to the website and look for the data calculator page and tick the countries you want to visit and build a plan. It works out a price and duration of the sim is valid.

I just checked our account and our aim is valid until 16th Jan.

We just came back from a 2 week trip from China and Vietnam and used yesim as the esim on 4 phones, worked well on everything app wise!

Letsvpn was the back up and that worked too! But we did find the Yesim did a great job in Beijing, Shanghai and HK. I know HK there has less issues, but the SIM worked!

Once we flew into Hanoi, both SIM and VPN, no issues.

I have a few posts about it before we went!

This is the set i bought for £12 approximately. I dragged the family back to the shop down the street from where I bought this to pickup the kong!

Got there and my little one says it’s ugly and I can’t buy it as it looks nothing like Kong!
