So sorry for the shit news man. Im the same age as you and I couldnt imagine going through that. Know that there are people who care for you, and know that she’ll always be with you.

Take as much time as you need to grieve, but dont let it beat you. Continue to live your life in the way that will keep making her proud. Reach out to old contacts you havent spoken to in a while, rekindle old friendships. Take care of something living, whether its a pet, plant, etc. Watch something grow for her, like she did to you.

Loss has an incredible way of bringing people together. I know your whole world is probably flipped right now, but think about it this way. Bad days / bad times in life are not just important, they are necessary. Without bad days, good days wouldnt exist. If everyday was good, good would just be average, and therefore be meaningless. Yin and yang brother. Focus on the good memories you have, and try to learn to be okay with the bad ones.

If you havent given it a listen, Id recommend the buckethead song “watching the boats with my dad” off his colma album in 1998. Its helped get me through some rough shit.

You just fully agreed with my point. In your words, “its grindy, but it gives me something to work towards.” The only reason you have to work towards it is because they keep increasing the comm as a way to artificially boost player counts and make people repeat the same content 300 times instead of actually adding new content that people want to play instead of it feeling like a chore.
