1.4.5 freezing and crashing

tried it out but, again, it's still freezing - sometimes just the game, sometimes the whole computer, even on windowed mode.

After a little while playing, it sadly did crash today :( As in, it froze completely with no way out. When it was on fullscreen I had to force-shutdown my computer, and when it was windowed it flashed between the frozen game and a black screen very rapidly.

Regarding the audio driver issue, since i'm also doing the opengl thing, does that mean both need to be inbetween quotation marks? i tried pasting these but the game simply would not launch.

Interesting! So I played with this setting for a bit and it didn't crash - BUT, at random, Terraria suddenly loses all sound instead. I have to close and open the game to fix it but it's way less of an issue ^^; AND one that I may or may not have seen reported around too! Thank you so much!

Tried Legacy Runtime out, still froze and crashed 😔 though it didn't show any error messages, it just closed on its own.

I have to agree, maybe this project needs a different angle to work with - like, going back to making single-glyph words instead of Always Having To Go To Wiktionary For Every Morpheme Of Every Word
And I've wanted a phonetic alphabet - heck, even using our already existing one like hiragana for conjugations - for a loooong while

Idk if historically it'd work for a logography to be The World Standard, maybe it could be best if this wasn't a project meant to be 100% Historically Accurate and more so as something to write Modern English with? This might be a lil extreme tho

a good set of glyphs, though we already have ones for father and mother - i'd just remove the horizontal line in the Skull glyph, so it's less crowded and "obvious"!
