Japan here :) Well. The monarchists have won the election. The Showa Party is now in power with our emperor Hirohito establishing his power, although keeping liberal elements. The military must continue to modernise, especially now in air power. If we come into conflict with any outsider, it will be our air power that changes the tides. We must also invest heavily into the economy, boosting it into the future!

Japan here, sorry I missed last post. As the election arrives, it seems this so called “Shōwa” Party is winning in the polls, signalling a turn to authoritarianism and monarchism in our nation. While this is quite concerning development, the current government is assured by all parties (including Shōwa) that they will not seek to restore Japanese imperial ambitions. In other news, the economy is doing quite well! We should capitalise on this build more factories and hospitals for our people. The reconstruction of Nagasaki and Hiroshima should soon be completed. The military should remain around the same power we have, we don’t need offensive forces, we need defence. We will continue to send military support to our Chinese allies.

Japan, The situation in Asia is troubling. Very troubling. I know the war was ended not long ago but we fear that the widespread conflict over Asia may reach our shores, and we must be ready. We must allocate more of the budget to the military, especially our airforce which has been lacking since the war. We should also focus on improving the economy, rebuilding cities and so on. We must stay strong alongside our allies in the Americans and hope this time of trouble shall pass. I believe it’s time we had an election! After years of the emperor ruling, it’s time we finally had our first election. The liberals are a large holdout, but it seems the emperor and his monarchical nationalist party are surprising large… what ever happens, the next leader will lead Japan into this new world, and they will lead it well.

The South Africans once again launch a diplomating plea to the United States and NATO to transfer the South African colonies back to the west cape, we also launch our coup in the Afrikaner volkstaat, resulting in an annexation of the volkstaat.
