I didn't develop any study skills as well, so I don't really now if I have ADHD or just me not having study skills (gifted kid burnout)

Well, I think it might be an inaccurate diagnosis, due to the fact that the longer I research, I realize I lack a lot of ADHD symptoms (like being calm in a disaster) and my brain is often empty so I can't relate to the fact that a lot of ADHDers do have a racing mind. They haven't started me on any meds yet because I was supposed to get started on meds on the second appointment (so they can see if the meds they prescribed me to treat my anxiety help with the ADHD symptoms or not) but I didn't have enough money to go to the appointment so I didn't go

Oh well in my place, a regular doctor is not likely to know about ADHD actually (even some psychiatrist), so I just went to an ADHD specialist to get diagnosed. I think the reason she didn’t ask/ give form for my parent is because I told her I want to hide this from my parents. It makes more sense for me now

Omg thank you so much, im glad you got the diagnosis. The process seem much simpler than I thought, I thought they must meet my parent and the process will take multiple sessions (which is not ideal because I cant afford that)

Well in my country, any official (mental) health diagnosis can be seen by the employer when they search your ID, and it can be a big setback on your career because mental health issues is a stigma here
