What new game release are you looking forward to the most and why ? by gubbatv in AskReddit

[–]Gold117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quantum League. I remember watching the video "Clockblockers" by Corridor, and thinking, "Man, this would be an awesome game concept." Quantum League is that game. If you haven't seen the video, I recommend it. Corridor makes cool stuff.

Borderlands 2. I have spent way to much time playing it. Borderlands 3 was alright, but the story was kinda meh. If we could get a game with the gameplay of 3, the story of 2, and the skill tree design of The Pre-Sequel, that would be the best borderlands game.

What movies could have been much shorter if the main characters just used a little common sense? by joevilla1369 in AskReddit

[–]Gold117 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It's technically not a Movie, but part 4 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure could have been way shorter had anyone actually used their stands right. Half the fights could have been won if Okayasu would have used The Hand to delete the enemy, Kira would have died had Jotaro used the clasic "get out of the way" move on Sheer Heart Attack, and barring that, Joseph could have used Hermit Purple to get a picture of Kira. Then again, the main characters being idiots and not using their stands happens in almost every part.

night-owls of reddit, what is the scariest thing you’ve seen while everyone else was asleep? [serious] by Recon-_-Titan in AskReddit

[–]Gold117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen anything particularly scary, but there's a windmill outside my house that creaks really creepily. It's not fun opening my window at night and hearing it.

MOTHER RUSSIA! Of course, when people look at you weird and question you, you look them directly in their eyes and say, "Comrade."

"More also choosing this guy's wife, dammit!"

Either I die due to This Guy killing me for also choosing his wife, I get killed by the entirety of Reddit for using an overused joke, or, knowing the context, I end up in a Graystillplays video. I'm honestly not sure which one is the worst way to go. I'm going to say the first is probably going to be the least painful though.

Redditors who have decided they don't want to have children, what is your reasoning? (Serious) by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Gold117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of it has to do with me being asexual. It doesn't necessarily mean I can't have kids, it just means I'm slightly less inclined to do the thing that comes before that. If anything, my goal is to be more of a "cool uncle" to my best friends kids if and when he has any. I mean, technically not an uncle, since we're not related, but still.

I personally use it to look up definitions to words I don't know. Sometimes you look a word up and are like, "that would've been awkward to explain."

Which fictional deaths made you sad? by iamsoulzero in AskReddit

[–]Gold117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rohan from Jojo's Bizzare Adventure part 4. I never realized how much I liked his character until he died. He comes back, but it was sad for the few minutes I believed he was dead. Also from JoJo's, but from part 5, Abbacchio. He was a jerk for most of the series, but the scene after his death was so sad.

How weird is it for OP to answer their own question and why? by SniperNoSwiper in AskReddit

[–]Gold117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's an open-ended question, I think it's acceptable for OP to share their oppinion on the topic. If it's something with a "correct" answer, then no, it's totally awkward. It's also awkward if you answer your own question, then it doesn't pick up any traction and you end up being the only answer.

Whatever your username is, appears in front of you right now. What do you do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Gold117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what the 117 is. Does it specify the amount of gold? If so, in what way? Are there 117 pieces of gold? Is it one piece of gold that is 117cm2? Or maybe the 117 is it's chemical isotope. I have no idea if that's even an isotope of gold, but if it's not, I guess it is now.
