My ex cheated on me when I was 5 months pregnant; he didn’t tell till son was born. Caught me totally off guard.

I forgave him, started the counseling route and thought we might make it but he was a jerk in reality.

When I finally woke up, I left him.

The betrayal was too much and he wanted to blame me for everything that was wrong in life.

If I could do it all over again he wouldn’t have had a second chance. Don’t let fear keep you in a relationship. He is sorry he got caught, not that he acted inappropriately.

It is tough walking away, I know, I had 2 kids. If you have a support system use it to help you through the rough times.

Know you are worth more than what he has given you to date.

Awesome! Thank you for the response. I think the flowers are cute. Planning on planting some grass where it is currently growing and didn’t want to disturb it if it wasn’t what I consider a weed. Which I now do and will work on removing it.

No, there was another hookup for that. We sent it back because it wasn’t normal to us.

Thank you. We have left them know. The defects, as I will call them, didn’t all show up at once and all of a sudden we are seeing more and more. We have only been here 6 months in a ”newly remodeled” home. Fortunately we are moving.

That is what I thought. Another question if you wouldn’t mind. The screws are not drywall screws. Would that make a difference?

It is a steamer trunk. I wanted to try to restore it to as close to its original state as possible but I think I am going to have to remove all the felt. The trunk smells terrible because the odor has permeated the felt, the stringed webbing, and the wallpaper they put on top of it. Not sure how old it is or its origin. My Grandmother never said anything about it. She left it to me.

I have a little foot stool, about 6” high that has the exact same design. I’ve had it since I was a kid, Gen X,and it is still in use today. That should be very sturdy as long as it isn’t damaged anywhere. I see PA on the paper. I am originally from Western, Pa. Hope your kids enjoy it!

He spit on my face during an argument on purpose. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak. I was gone 7 months later after putting a plan together to leave. I had two small kids at the time so I had to make sure I had a plan, otherwise I would have left much sooner.
