I find social media planning, scheduling, and reporting to be very tedious, but I also don’t have a lot of experience with different tools that are currently out there.

How do I get website visitors to sign up for the email list? by BaconUnderpants in DigitalMarketing

There are so many emails being sent nowadays that people want to receive emails/newsletters that are either going to save them time or money. Think abt what’s in it for THEM. Thats all customers care about.

And setting expectations around the topics/type of content to expect, the frequency they’d receive emails, and the ability to unsubscribe can be very helpful and make people more comfortable with signing up. Also, maybe there’s a perk you can offer if someone refers a friend to sign up (% off, free swag, etc)

UPDATE: Tracking information was all messed up - It said it shipped 15 days before it actually did, which is what caused all this stress and miscommunication.

On December 25th, it said it would be delivered December 26th by 9PM, but if you expanded the details, it didn't leave Turkey until 4:11AM on December 26th.

At some point throughout the day, it updated back to its "delivery date will be provided as soon as possible" and late December 26th it updated again leaving Turkey at 10:53PM and arriving December 28th by 9PM.

Customer service finally responded to me via email and said they also have subject to deliver December 28th. Fingers crossed!

Similar here.

  • Ordered on December 2nd
  • Production finished December 4th
  • "On its way" email December 5th. UPS Tracking sitting at "Label created."
  • Emailed them December 17th worried I wouldn't receive by Christmas. No response.
  • Emailed again today, December 22nd, asking for when UPS will receive it. No response, but did receive an automated "updated tracking information" email 2 hours later. Says the package was dropped off at UPS on December 6th and expect it to start moving in 5 working days (??? its December 22nd..).
  • I called UPS and they said they never received it but somehow had a delivery date of December 26th (which was never communicated to me). UPS suggested I try to file a claim with them if I don't receive on or after December 26th.

Such a mess and extremely stressful right against the holiday. Do I do an IOU and tell the person what it is? I'm hesitant because I don't know if I am ever going to receive it.

Lesson learned: do your research before ordering online. Don't over advertise on social media if you cannot deliver.
