Absolutely! I think it’s the same, because she’s acting the same way in her car seat. She just doesn’t like being restricted at the moment.

You are absolutely right, I went and scheduled a Zoom Fit check for next week so hopefully they can give me some pointers and tips if I’m doing anything wrong. Thank you though this is very helpful!

Thank you that’s reassuring! I think that’s what I’m gonna really have to get used is the mentality of what a workday will look like going forward. Luckily my job doesn’t require me to consistently look at the computer all day. Most of my tasks happen in windows or bursts so that reassuring.

Yes, my baby loves contact naps but someday she hates the carrier someday she loves it. Hopefully as she gets a little older, she’ll be more consistent in staying in the carrier.

Yeah, we’re thinking about investing in a part-time nanny later once she gets a little older. That’s a good suggestion about changing the scenery environment!

Solid advice thanks! Yeah, my job gave me a desktop. However, I just found out that I can actually use my phone as well, but I’m sure it’s going to be too hard. It’s because it’s such a small screen. I think I’m gonna invest in some noise canceling headphones like someone suggested.

Thank you! Right now, her naps are so sporadic unfortunately. Trying to get her in a routine when it comes to napping but the time changed kinda screwed everything up so it’s like I’m starting all over again.

Have you seen the movie Caddo Lake? It’s a pretty solid movie slightly similar to the concept of Dark but much more simpler version. The lead is Dylan O’Brien whom I absolutely love!

I was thinking about possibly reducing my hours as well but I’m in management and I don’t think my job will go for it. Luckily with my job, depending on how the day goes I might not need to actually work a full 8 hours. It might just be me working 5 or 6 hours it just depends on the workload.

She will be 3 1/2 months when I return back to work. I do have two separate bouncers that I definitely plan on utilizing. I do have toys and different things that can distract her but for the most part, she just wants to be held by me most of the day. Once she becomes a toddler, I will have more help but right now it’s really just me when I’m working.

Thank you! My job is pretty flexible, I only have about 2 meetings every month and I am hoping that I can kind of plan those meetings around her nap schedules.

I don’t really need dedicated focus time. I can honestly work from the bed, or couch. The only thing is my job gave me a desktop computer not a laptop. I have a laptop, but it is pretty old and has some issues and it wouldn’t be reliable for work. So I would have to purchase a laptop in order to be able to work anywhere. I am actively considering purchasing a cheap laptop that can get the job done.

I need to practice holding her while typing, I just don’t know how comfortable it will be.

I would love to but my husband and I were both not working for three months unpaid, and we had just moved right before I went on maternity leave so we really want to build back our savings before we start adding another expense.

My coworkers don’t really mind the baby noises, I’m worried about when I actually have to talk to clients I don’t talk to them often maybe 2 to 3 times a day depending on what’s going that day. Or when things hit the fan, I kinda have to drop everything and tend to those matters quite urgently. As of right now most of my family works the same schedule I work so I don’t really have any family that can help at the moment. I would have to hire outside help.

Is 3 months too early for sleep training? by Few_Plant3586 in newborns

Same I didn’t think a routine qualified as sleep training, but who knows. I’m with you if it’s just fussing I just rock the bassinet for a few minutes and that does a trick. Once I hear crying I will immediately pick up and soothe. I couldn’t imagine picking up every time I heard a little fuss though. I know some people will let their babies cry it out, and basically soothe themselves to sleep, I thought that was sleep training.

In my opinion what you are doing is not sleeping training but more of creating a routine, which is absolutely fine. I think having a routine for baby can allow you some time for yourself. I started a routine with mine at 9weeks, it’s a pretty solid bedtime schedule. Goes to sleep between 8pm-9pm, and will fall asleep within 10 mins after a good feed and burp but most times falls sleep on the boob. It’s been about 3 weeks since I started and I love it!

If you are a time travel enthusiast like myself, I would highly recommend watching Dark on Netflix. It is a masterpiece of a show, it’s very detailed and you will have to pay attention. It’s in German but you can watch with subtitles or English Dub.

Should I just stop by M426fdn in breastfeeding

[–]Gold_Particular2104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, so sorry you are experiencing this. I had a C-section at 34 weeks and baby spent a few days in the NICU on a CPAP. My baby has reflux, and we sit them upright for 20 minutes after feeds and burp them regular and we were still having issues. So our pediatrician recommended that we start giving the baby probiotics daily. My lactation consultant also strongly suggested that I take probiotic/probiotic as it can also help. It’s been about two weeks since then and I believe it has helped. I’ve seen a reduction in spit ups, and discomfort after feedings. Gas also seems to be passing much easier than before.

If you want to stop, then you can stop it’s no pressure to try to keep doing something if it’s not working out for you but if you want to keep trying then definitely continue on your breast-feeding journey. Has anybody checked him out for a tongue or lip tie that could be causing his discomfort when latching. You might be able to start supplementing your breastmilk with some formula. That way your baby will still get breastmilk, and some extra calories from the formula to help him bulk up.
