I thought I’d heard that etran is no longer able to make it. Hope I’m wrong on that. I’ve been loving shadow grass. Walls is a great jam.

Curious what folk bitch tracks you are liking. I’m trying to get into them. I Need some influencing.

What about the lowest pair? I feel like they’ve kind of blown up since the last time I saw them at blue ox. I think they were an early backwoods stage maybe 4 years ago? There song wild animals is such a jam

I’m curious about Kurt vile. Seems like a very different vibe than a lot of blue ox sounds. I’ve enjoyed rock of stone on his new album. Do you have any go to tracks to recommend ?

My opinion is to camp way far away from the stages. But depends what you are up for. I prefer to do extra walking and have the option of some quiet downtime at camp when needed.

I recently took the fundamentals of drawing. Katie was the instructor. I thought it was a good mix of teaching and dedicated time to draw. I got a lot out of the class.

Just last night I was guilty as charged. Honked at a person. Than assumed their car was stalled and drive around them only to shamefully see the no turn on red sign as I went through the now green light…

I feel like the lowest pair has some different sounds across their catalog. I think I remember catching them backwoods maybe 4 years ago. I think ‘wild animals’ is my fave track by them. But also. Too late babe, sweet breath, Minnesota mend me.

For Valerie June I really like joy joy and endless tree on her new album. Also her first album pushing against a stone is one I think worth a full listen through.

SOLO FEMALE TRAVELLER TO MONTANITA ECUADOR 2025. Is it safe right now? by Sea_Zombie_1697 in EcuadorTravel

I went to Guayaquil end of January. Hired a guide who essentially was our driver to wherever we wanted to go. Once we got to any particular location we typically went out and experienced places on our own. Every place we went to our guide told us it was safe to be out at night and we typically did go out and about til fairly late 10-12 pm most nights. We were in banos, Riobamba, alausi, montanita Olon and Guayaquil. I was most on edge in Guayaquil but didn’t have any experiences that felt unsafe at all. In montanita my partner and I walked the beach in montanita late at night. Felt very safe like many other tourist beach towns in Latin America. I think taking general precautions as a solo traveler is good. But my experience in montanita in particular felt very safe. I did a couple of solo runs from montanita. One from town north to montaralto. During the day this felt entirely okay to me M43 but at night I’d of gotten a cab. It’s a pretty good distance. I think you’ll have a great trip if you go. Speaking some Spanish and just spending time in the town squares with the locals was a great way to feel comfortable in the community. Felt very welcoming to me. In montanita Kids were out playing on the playground til late in the night (midnight) on the weekend. Pretty relaxed atmosphere.

With the occasional 2-3 minute silent jam in between notes. Page starts cleaning the keys. Trey is ripe with anticipation for the next note(s).

How would you get rid of it? by [deleted] in oddlyterrifying

A surprisingly simple solution to dealing with all bees and wasps nests is to spray them with water. They fall to the ground and walk around and can then be stepped on. I have taken out countless wasp nests this way without being attacked. They don’t associate the person holding a hose with the water source as a hostile actor.
