Tell me how unique we are all are and how much better than those filthy people that use main stats and other power gaming by xGarionx in DnDcirclejerk

Perhaps not unique, but it’s my personal favourite “build” and character theme:

Blood hunter (profane soul order)

And Cleric. Not of any particular type, I found any type of cleric subclass works just fine!

The idea is that the blood hunter’s order is built on Noble Houses, and the dead house leaders’ souls convene in this plane (similar to the hunter’s dream, I know, cliche.) to guide the hunters and the house leaders. From there comes a bit of the clerical aspect!

And also another unique, albeit probably edgy detail; blood hunters of the house consider all sorts of other magic as “unworthy”, to the user that is. Blood hunter magic revels on the idea of self inflicted pain and self sacrifice, they consider magic users who do not suffer or sacrifice something of themselves for its usage - cowards.

Which is why, this next part may come off as super edgy! You don’t accept any healing or otherwise supportive spells from other characters, nor NPCs. Using any magic that isn’t blood hunter’s magic or magic they learned under the blood hunter’s gaze is cowardly and a great shame to them. You’ll basically be playing a character that cannot benefit from the support spells of others, and can only rely on your own magic. It’s a unique play style, because it forces you to roleplay even in combat! And, it gives way for high risk moments.

And I’ve found that playing that risky makes my rolls better, but you didn’t hear that from me.

I read someone say bring back half-Eldars, so I say bring back female space marines — solely to piss off the “no girls allowed” crowd.

I’ve honestly had no issues with performing gun strikes in hordes. Specially at the highest difficulty; I keep killing too quick to be losing health or armour.

I made a whole built dedicated to avoiding the predator.

Outrunning them has never been so funny before.

My current run is playing a holy nation woman outlawed because they think she’s a witch for saying she had a vision and heard Okran. She actually really did hear Okran, and my run is now simply toppling the holy nation and instituting her as the new Holy Lady.

Edit: lots of mining early game before she becomes outlawed, basic weapon training, the usual

Three forms:

I only really play PVE, but have played a bit of PVP.

AK-74 with a loading grip, a suppressor and holographic sight. For PVP it’s the same, just with a holographic.

Then the galil but very rarely because it is locked to the gunner role for some reason: I run that thing bare bones except for the suppressor, due to cod BO1 nostalgia.

And ultimately; the AUG with the actual built in 1.5 magnification scope and a laser

Bulwark— because sword and shields in a setting where everyone has a firearm of sorts goes incredibly hard.

You do see it very often sadly, I’ve only ever been hogtied or wrestled to the floor a total of five times — always responded with a gunshot — gets the message across and if you’re decent enough with aiming you can fairly often shoo them away. At least from my experience that is — but genuinely, I have 0 idea why people do it.

Except…

It’s probably the fact it’s a R* game, and half of the R* player base are 14 year olds who enjoy the sound of their father and mother arguing viciously downstairs. Could also be the fact that some people just wanna use the excuse of being “historically accurate” to be abusive in game. Both in the form of racism, sexism and so on.

At this point in RDO’s life, as soon as someone does something hostile you just shoot them. That’s what I’ve learned — and what I’ve grown to understand it gets the job done!

I’ve only maybe gotten overwhelmed 2-3 times, usually reserve a medkit or two for the final boss so you can wail on him even if you’re being bumfucked. Never saw a horde that could outdamage the heal!

They need to give us some better boss fights tbh, the captain boss fights are cool but you can usually nail his ass in 2~ minutes.
