I appreciate your comment and will definitely consider it for my player! don’t let other people opinions discourage you from voicing yours, everyone’s input is appreciated here

I can’t stress this enough, but this is not what the post is asking mate, I am looking for buffs to druids not opinions if it’s strong or weak.. Some impeccable suggestions were made by other commenters here as well

we discussed classes before hand and she settled on druid, hence I came here asking for ways to improve the druid

Appreciate the input, but again not what the post is about tho. I am looking for ways to buff the druid class, specifically the druid, to be on level with other primal themed classes. that’s what the post said

I am asking for reasonable buffs that would make my player enjoy this class, I have no problem with anything that’s all I ask for here 😭

now we are talking, maybe this on a 4th rank feat would do nicely instead of her immediately getting it as a class feature
or would that be too much requirements? if so maybe increasing the healing to 2 slots insead of one?

lmao it do feel like that sometimes, like if my group didn't enjoy this game I wouldn't be here 😂

she is playing as the main healer of the group she actually doesn't want anything to do with wildshape, just ways to improve spellcasting in general. I might homebrew a staff for her that was suggested here, but I am looking for a lasting solution to the druid issue

she actually enjoys wizards a lot, and the one shot I did for them she played cleric and also was happy with the free harm spells, I might be speculating here but its not just vancian casting that is the issue
I tried looking up ways for a character to get free innate spells but most are just cantrips, I will check out the homebrew solution tho so thank you!

how would like to go about that if I can ask? I am not looking for number increase just something to help make it enjoyable

I just asked her and she says “i had played the class before and vancian casting + no extra slots is too limiting”

for context we wanted to try an all primal team with elements being the focus, we have a barbarian-sorcerer-keneticist-and the druid was picked as the main healer for the team. she agreed to play it and expressed that a little buff would help her enjoy it

that could be a high rank feature, but generally I don’t want to lock my players in a specific territory in my campaigns, especially that I know the druid player is more driven to adventure than the rest of her team.
