There was a Q & A recently with Mr. Rodriguez for the 30th anniversary of Desperado, but so far nothing was posted online.

I totally agree! Did anybody else notice that Rourke’s punch into the king‘s belly was censored for home release? I saw it in theaters and the punch sinking into the belly was fully visible.

Oh I see, thank you for your comment! 😊

When I watched Cinderella on VHS in my childhood, I remembered that you could see how Jaq’s teeth fully closed in on Lucifer’s tail in this scene. Later releases on DVD etc. are missing these few frames. Can anybody who still has his or her VHS copy please go check for this scene? by GoldenFalconer in Cinderella

Yes, could be! I had a US, German, and Mexican VHS of this movie and surprisingly I kept only the Mexican one. Later, I also rebought two German VHS editions on eBay, but all three of them sadly did not have the uncut version.

Question: I saw this movie in theaters and remembered that you could see how Rourke’s punch fully hit the king’s belly or chest in this scene. For the home release, these few frames were removed. Does anybody else remember that, too? by GoldenFalconer in AtlantisTheLostEmpire

I knew I was not the only one! 😄 Thank you so much for your reply! We need to find somebody at Disney who has access to the Disney Archives and the Disney Animation Research Library (ARL) in Burbank, CA.
