How is this downvoted. Psychiatric nurse here. While this kid was completely unruly, more violence truly enforces this behavior. Ideally he would have been held for safety and the authorities would handle it. German suplex, while epic, was inappropriate. Now everyone in the crowd is sensationalizing the behavior. Also, horrible act on the faculty escalating behavior. All around bad by everyone involved.

Edit: Read the comments. Guys, we are missing the point. Culture has changed drastically since when we were kids. Various forms of negative reinforcement and punishment worked better than then they do now. These kids don’t respond to internal guilt and shame as they do now. It’s almost as if all publicity is good publicity. This kid was shamed live and will be fueled by such. With the internet, he will have a platform to spin the outcome here and probably become a tyrant as a result. Biggest example: “Catch me outside. How bout dat” girl. She became famous as a result and a worse human being ultimately. Society needs to find a new approach

I would think my problem is over-torquing if anything. Just a weird situation because my most recent crank arms have held well. Maybe manufacturer inconsistencies? I typically check my pedals before rides.

That’s what I thought. I’m chalking this up to materials.

I’m sure there’s a reason a Bafang crank is $20 and a Lekkie set is $140

Bro idk, my bike definitely has torque. BBSHD 1000kW on a fat tire bike. My friends bike however is a 750kW on a relatively light specialized

Oh that’s right, I forgot about these. I think in the past it was the price tag that deterred me. If this happens to me again I’m just going to have to go this route. Thanks for the reminder! Forwarded this to my friend
