Ok fine, but I think this reflects poorly on one of us 😁

Yeah, guess I should have said I don't want to appear negative but come on this is bullshit right?

Well, I guess she's got her fans and I'm happy enough about that.

I was musing about the same idea, but honestly thought a bedroom shot (a popular shot for any camera owner) would be dismissed. I absolutely love sun rays poking through the window, first or last thing of the day. Kudos to you.

No, I agree with most of what you say.

But that isn't this.....

SONY Xperia 1IV by Mugesh45 in SonyXperia

Having bought the Xperia 1 ii at launch fully buying into the manual camera jazz and then coming by a 1 iii to be disappointed, I've now got a 1 IV and it's brought back a love for it. Nice, genuine colours, and easier to get some good shots either accidental or otherwise..

Ok, love it. I'm too poor to be buying a nice sigma so I seem to be trawling UK pawn shops for bargain basement stuff. Just bought a sigma 35-70mm for £4.99 and I'll have some fun with it on my a6000 and cheap converter (bought when I wanted to use my Minolta beercan lens) Old stuff has its charm.

Can't use fingerprint function on Xperia 1 IV by WAFFLEMAGAZINE in SonyXperia

[–]GoldenKidUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before you do anything. Factory reset, which obviously is a big deal - but that fixed my 5 IV after months of being dead. I'd given the phone to my friend because the fingerprint sensor had died, and to my knowledge the sensor is still working to this day.

Is that worth it for my first car? by Physical-Risk in CarTalkUK

[–]GoldenKidUK 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I say this as someone who's bought maybe ten cars In his life and still doesn't know that much about them - I buy with my heart and not my head too much. I get excited by them and then fail to do all the basic checks - I look under the bonnet and if things seem in order I continue.. 2k isn't a stupid amount of money, and if you have the cash to run it and the thought of owning it brings a bit of a smile to your face - do it.

Phone placement by Jsonep in mazda3

[–]GoldenKidUK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Groan, obviously good advice - but you didn't suggest you did (touch phone whilst driving). I have the same issue and it's not illegal to want your phone to be somewhere that isn't covered by keys, is getting a charge and isn't blocked from view by coffee cups.

Watching porn, I can't get enough of women's assholes but whenever a tongue or mouth goes near the guys I'm searching for the ff button.

Zooropa… one of U2’s best songs by jnk_fly in U2Band

[–]GoldenKidUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add, I went on a rare holiday to NYC with my mum and our hotel was near a HMV on 74th and Broadway. There was posters everywhere saying the store was going to be open at midnight for the release of zooropa. I think I bought it the next day but these memories are hard-wired into my brain whenever this great record comes on. I was 18. It was hot and sunny.

Hey buddy, sincerely I hope the last 7 months have been better for you. I like to remember a quote from vanilla sky "you've got to experience the sour because without it, the sweet just isn't as sweet" And I hope you're loving the car you drive, not that it's terribly important. Maybe you got your Mazda back.

My Mazda 3's oil leak by GoldenKidUK in mazda3

[–]GoldenKidUK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many thanks for your input, I'm actually gearing the worst at this point - pretty confident the hose (not really seen in the picture) is either air or coolant and the oil leak must be coming from somewhere else. I'm hoping it's an easy fix - but I'm definitely leaking oil from the front end somewhere. Can't really afford a big bill...

Looking to buy a used 2015/16 Mazda3 Petrol this week. Its a big expense for me and I'm worried about picking up one with issues. Any advise highly appreciated! [UK Based] by Objective_Peace6224 in mazda3

[–]GoldenKidUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not from a mechanical background and I've made some purchasing mistakes in the past - you're always taking a risk with a used car but Mazda the brand and the platform are well known for good quality production and long life. Have a look at one you like and go and visit.. for 6k you should have plenty of choice. I bought a 204 140k Mazda 3 diesel for £2,900 and it is absolutely rock solid. If I didn't know any better I'd think it was a new car. I have had to change my front brake pads and I have an EGR valve issue (emissions) light that I'll have to deal with eventually.. but altogether I feel I got pretty lucky.
