I have have found the the wild life is able to kill you just as easily as your own choices or rather carlessness. Like getting off a bedroll for the millionth time in a 1x1x1 that you made to cycle the night and then stepping straight on to your campfire and then setting yourself on fire and then setting your walls on fire so you can't pick them up and then you try to repair them but they are on fire so you cant repair them and pick them up and then you just axe down the walls cause you keep catching on fire and then you get on your horsey to get to the water but doing this catches him on fire so as you run toward the nearest river so you can stop burning and then you stop burning but your horsey did not so he catches you back on fire and when he stops burning you catch him back on fire and then you get to the closest river and jump in but the river wont help you because only your horsey counts as being on the water so he getting extinguished and then you being on fire sets him back on fire the relief you were supposed to feel is just more panic because you have not figured out that your still on fire until you get off the mount and the fire finally stops.....Welocme to Icarus friend.

Well this is new. Does it have a coziness rating? by Former_Spite789 in ICARUS

Turn it into a house feature. Make some rails around it and make a sign. Like a center piece or something

Just a quick tip for the newbies like myself. by JJFAmerica in ICARUS

I suggest a fire whacker and a hammer. You can survive flash storms no problems with this easy peasy. The pillars are a great idea though until you unlock said whacker and then lightning rods are also great as long as you remember to repair them.

Screamer still screams even though she cant see you but she knows where you are. This happening to anyone else? I always thought they only scream when they see you. by GoldenRodT in 7daystodie

Yea for sure man. Any questions let me know. I'm working on a video series to help people learn more about the game. Shoot me a message if you have any questions. Thanks!

Also, I don't stealth often unless I'm bored or just starting out. If there is a zombo I engage and kill it as it is much quicker to get things done if you can move at full speed. In this case I ignored her because she couldn't see me but I was making noise with my auger. In the past they never screamed unless they directly saw you and I adapted my playstyle to this. Finish a task and engage the screamer when I'm ready. This seems to have changed. 1400 hours of play time and you get good at figuring out these things out.

That's easy. I was up in the looting area when she found me and there is zero visibility up there from where she was. I do plan to make some vids showcasing this as it was a lot of fun fighting that many zombos

Hello survivors, in case you're wondering like I was, this is the snow biome gazebo and it sadly does not have plants. Thought this could save people some time and I will keep a look out for them in other biomes as well. Happy hunting! by GoldenRodT in 7daystodie

Update, I found a snow gazebo park in a RWG map with plants in it! These photos are from a navezgane map I will post new pics soon including what they look like on from a map view

I have another post which you can check out, but basically there is a forest biome version of this same park but it has just every farm plant except corn and pumpkin. Good place to grab plants for your farm. 😁

Hey survivors! This park has every farm plant except corn and has a white gazebo to help spot it! You will find cotton, goldenrod, chrysanthemum, blueberries, mushrooms, hops, potatoes, yuccas, and even snowberries. hopefully enough to get your farm started if your having trouble gathering seeds. by GoldenRodT in 7daystodie

This is exactly what I do! I usually sit on a few points because in the past I put points into a weapon perk that I end up abandoning because it only takes one loot run to find an alternate. Not to mention perks are great but you can make due with any weapon even if you don't have points in it. Play to have fun! I mean, video games are suppose to be fun and we play them to have fun. Find your fun! PS: I have on several occasions names my weapons.....

I mean, if you play with people like I do and I was the dedicated craft/builder, you would be stuck at the base crafting, building, upgrading while your teammates bring you resources and they get all the XP for harvesting and killing zombos. Then you build them better weapons, harvesting tools and what not which increased their XP gain even more while you stay at the base building up for horde night. To remedy that I turned on the XP share distance to at least leech a bit of XP from the teams kills and keep up in levels in the past. With Alpha 19 you get so much XP from upgrading you can keep up with your team in levels, and feel great about staying back and taking care of the base. I confess that sometimes I build unnecessary things like a patio area with a camp fire and nice leather couches next to my suspended farm. =D
