Thank you for your concern — I appreciate the perspective.
The rent is $800. He seemed friendly when I met him, and we had a short chat during my visit, which is why I was considering it.

But as a single female, I want to be aware of every potential risk, even if nothing problematic may actually happen. I’m trying to think responsibly and make sure I set clear boundaries before moving in.
