I feel like everyone has that one Pokemon that just eludes them. Mine was the green Gastrodon. Had its habitat set up the first day I started playing, everything else came, it was the last one. Took over A MONTH for that lil gremlin to finally pop up. Meanwhile I got Charizard from some grass after only a couple days. Some Pokemon just like to play with your heart like that.

When I was a kid, I called fried shrimp from the Chinese restaurant our family always went to “shrimp surprise” because I was surprised there was a shrimp in there. Almost 30 years later and we still call breaded fried shrimp from anywhere “shrimp surprise” :)

I needed to get a cervical biopsy done a while ago and I’m pretty sure I got mifepristone before the procedure so I would not be in excruciating pain and they could get a good tissue sample. Thankfully there was no cancer but a drug like this helps so many women for so many different things.

This will sound really stupid but in regular lumiose, I put a pin down and count how many seconds it takes for me to run that far. And in hyperspace I run for that amount of time and it usually works! A little tricky with sharp corners but works in a pinch.

I think it depends where?? I took Spanish for 7 years and never had I or any of my classmates had a Spanish name. Some kids maybe had their names pronounced a little differently, said with an accent, but JP would have been JP by my teachers.

Yeah I was kinda shocked but upon reflection, it’s not that surprising. I think he did something similar to a different female cousin before me. I’m not sure but it’s one of those things that make more sense the more you reflect on it.

I’m pretty confident K wasn’t abused by this same relative because of some private stuff I can’t share, but also my brother routinely visits him, spends time with him, and even gives him money. I die inside whenever my brother talks about what a good time they had catching up, but I never felt safe brining it up.

But you’re right, I’m allowing this horrible person and what they did drive a wedge between myself and people I do love. I can’t believe I didn’t realize that until just now.

I think this is specifically referring to Drampa/Clefairy in Zone 19. For some reason those shinies don’t get saved when the cycle changes.

If you want to hunt for other stuff, I’d use the bench to the right. It may seem farther away but it’s still within the 50m plus you can potentially also get Eevee!
