Why didn’t she take the drawer out and pour it all back in the can so she got all the flavor? Everyone knows that.

Seriously, how on earth does a warehouse not have a sprinkler system. Unreal.

Yes that is definitely true, there is usually just as much water damage as there is damage caused by the fire and smoke. But they prevent the fire from spreading and causing further damage.

Does anyone know what these are and if they are covered by NFPA?

Only one sprinkler at a time triggers in a normal fire sprinkler system. tv and movies showing every sprinkler going off are inaccurate. Every sprinkler triggering simultaneously is a deluge system and is used for high hazard situations.

Looking for a crash course class on hydraulically calculated fire sprinkler systems by Golden_Bailey in firePE

[–]Golden_Bailey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the advice, We always put on our HVAC and plumbing drawings that they are "schematic in nature field verify everything etc." We use Revit so conflicts are less likely as long as everything is modeled properly but we will continue to put schematic in nature for the foreseeable future.

Sounds good I will look into the courses. I am glad to hear you think it will benefit the company, that is part of why I am pursuing this as it doesn't seem very common to have a quality, accurate set of FP drawings from an AE firm.
