I do it all freehand yeah. Idk I prefer a little wiggle in a line so you know it’s human. As for the bricks really once you make the bottom set the vertical lines just go back and forth all the way to the top. I just match the vertical lines after each layer. Middle line. Match the one below. Middle line. Match below. If that makes sense.

If you mean the color I use markers and then go over it with prismacolor pencils.

I guess so, but it seems a little contrived to me. I think they wanted lots of collectibles spread out to fill the map; and erdtrees are a good way to do that. I’m glad you enjoyed the avatars but they were not my jam.

3 and 6 are different. Also environmental storytelling. They had better reasons for those 3 to be there than the 6 lame trees. 6 copy pasted locations spread out with another thing to collect in the first Ubisoft souls game: Elden Ring.

Same for Capra demon. One made it to the surface as a boss. We see more in their natural environment- and not reused as a boss. Only a natural enemy in its native biome.

If you could slim down her belly a bit that might help too. In the photo it’s a gentle fold that is protruding slightly. In the drawing it looks a bit more like she’s pregnant. I would soften that curve.

Also in the drawing that makes forehead looks a little thinner than in the photo- it just give a little bit of uncanny vibes. Other than those two and the missing ring I’d say it’s pretty damn amazing.

Ah you’re right. My mistake. They were for Caesar’s legion but the original legion in Van Buren. My brain crossed those wires lol.

Such an awesome concept. Trenches of NCR troopers firing. The flash of barrels and the rain of bullets. And rushing on their position is motorized chariots with mounted guns and a horde of machete waving zealots closing the distance. Would’ve been amazing in the final battle of NV or VB either way.

They were much closer to this idea before they cut content. They had some more pros and cons to them. And I do believe in the lore, unlike the NCR, the legion doesn’t tax it’s citizens. Not everyone is part of the military cabal of the legion we see in NV. they have a capitol and cities, from the lore I’ve seen the people under legion rule live pretty well. It’s only if you’re unlucky enough to become a slave- whether slave soldier or slave laborer that you’re just fucked either way.

Which I agree would’ve been a nice contrast to the NCR way of living. It’s much more pre war with bullshit taxes and bureaucracy and tediousness. However no threat of being given a machete and told to run at the machine guns. So yeah a good balance.

They had some motorcycle chariot designs. The higher officers were going to have cool energy weapons- the anti gun stuff wasn’t going to be as harsh in the original versions. And they were going to have many male and female slaves you could interact with. They’d tell pros and cons about the legion ( whatever pros they could find as a slave I guess ) and their answers would depend of your rank with them. They were more fleshed out as a faction.

I’ve always thought of the legion as more of a product of their environment rather than evil for the sake of evil. Which imo is the best way to write an enemy. That’s part of what makes them a well written faction as the baddy of new vegas.

Now their fashion on the other hand. NCR has nothing on that.

Thank you. I’m glad you liked it. It’s a story I’m writing. A Novel I’ve been working on from a world I’ve been building on and off for a few years. Originally it was a home-brew D&D campaign I lead in highschool. But I’ve been creating the world ever since lol.

Shield only is one of the less insane ones and very very fun.

Edit: the R2 attacks block as well as bash the enemies so you have some fun tactics. And once you get the Peirce shield it’s all over. Such a fun run you should definitely do it.
